Oh gosh I’m behind. It actually said abuse. I know I need source, darnit. I’ll try to find. Ok. Quoted from this article: Jefferson County mom charged with kidnapping in armed abduction of her 3 daughters

Deputies learned that the night before the kidnapping DHR had removed the children from the custody of their mother as part of a safety plan while an investigation was conducted into abuse allegations. The children were placed with a relative who lived on Colonial Cove

Welcome Sea Island.
The image from her live arrest looks like a stripped top. I don’t think it could be this. Was she a nurse?
A lot of employees in hospitals wear scrubs, including orderlies and custodial staff.

I actually still think POI #1 can be seen throwing/dropping something just as he gets near the little ones, you can see his hand move as though he's throwing something on the grass, then the children move over to that part of the grass to pick something up. The POI #1 then looks back as the children are picking up whatever it is, either checking to see if they had picked it up, to speak to them or check if POI #2 was in position.

What a shocking tragic case this is, from thinking it could be a retaliation for debt etc, to hearing she'd been found alive and safe, and now 9 days later and still no sign of little Cupcake, and it's just sounding more insidious every day. Praying for little Cupcake

I'm wondering if the video we see is their second time passing by on that stretch of sidewalk. I think they might have already been by once before to drop whatever the girls are picking up and what we see is the second time. LE wouldn't necessarily show or tell us that. MOO

Any info on the attorneys? Are they public defenders or did they each retain their own lawyers? Or are they working pro bono?

Have each POI always lived in Birmingham? Other places? Any kidnappings/attempted kidnappings/crimes against kids in other places they have lived?

How long have they been living together. Stallworth's attorney (I think that's who said it) described it as a dating situation. Do people who are just dating generally live together?

Why aren't reporters digging up more info on these two? Do they know something we don't? No one seems to be digging, even non-local newspapers etc, which makes me think none of them know much more than we do.

What kind of people do they hang around? Sketchy individuals? Normal individuals? Where do they work? Where do they hang out? How long have they lived at that apartment? Reason for the move? Do they belong to any groups or clubs? We know she has kids and why they don't live with her; does he have any? Shared custody?

Exes for either of these two? What do they have to say about them? Previous neighbors? Family members? Anyone being vocal in their defense?
Good questions. We have some sleuthing to do! ;)

Both attorney's are court appointed PD's.

AMBER Alert abduction person of interest walks FREE after posting bond, though judge said he was indigent
WIAT reported that Patrick Stallworth, 39, was released from custody early Thursday after posting $500,000. It’s unclear how Stallworth obtained the money as District Judge Katrina Ross wrote in court documents filed Thursday that Stallworth is indigent and doesn’t have the funds to hire a lawyer.

Pair questioned in Kamille McKinney abduction are innocent, attorneys say
Adam Danneman, a public defender whose office represents Brown, said the woman “adamantly denies” knowing anything about the abduction and is "horrified” by the girl’s disappearance.

I don't think we know how long PS and DB have lived together, but the female neighbor said they had been living at the Woodside Condos for about a month.

I’m going to add this Facebook live by this reporter, Chip Scarborough. He is with WVTM 13 I’m not sure it’s been added.

He was on the scene early. Even mentions being there before crime tape up.

If you begin watching around the 10 min in part you will see the second “disturbance” which appears to involve parties on one side of tape and parties on the other side. I can’t imagine what it’s about, but there are plenty of shouts to pick up.

Also, worth noting to me was the possible brother crying and being taken away in a car by a relative. That tells me any questioning of him had to have taken place on site. My question to those that have been around is, would there have been an officer specially trained to speak with him responding to the call? My heart breaks for him for so many reasons.

Has there been any confirmation if there were dogs tracking her scent the same night she went missing?

Not that I’ve heard.

Imo there’s been nothing like this mentioned at all. It’s like she just disappeared without a trace after she was taken, only her shoes left behind.

Do we know what kind of shoes she was wearing? I’m just wondering how easily they would slip off, maybe not significant.

LE always says the only reliable information about the case will come from them.

I would think the DNA testing would be complete by now. I would really like to know if they found any evidence in that car. I'm still not convinced the two they arrested are the ones who abducted her.
This case is just a mess and I'm really starting to think she won't be found alive.

It was heartbreaking to see that boy crying on the news video. It shows just how chaotic it was that night. There were so many things going on and in a community like that there are always people hanging around outside and the whole property is basically the kids playground.

Somebody else there must have seen something. They probably have interviewed so many witnesses by now, they must have hundreds of tips.
And still no Cupcake.

If you have some free time google Woodside condominiums center point. Interesting stuff. A week without running water last month due to unpaid utilities by the board and several units caught fire last month. A lot of people moved out. I can’t find any stories giving the current state of affairs there.

Definitely seems to be a rough area.

This all really sucks so bad. :( I feel so powerless, and so sad and scared for her. I really don’t think I’ve got anything else to add here until we get more information (other than some potential areas of interest which I mentioned previously I would add; I’ve got pages of notes and I can’t find that particular page for some reason. It was basically a list of areas of hotels, etc. known for traffickers. I’ll find it.) I’d also like to examine the areas mentioned by locals in the last thread near the search area, marked for reference in one long multi quoted post which says “marking marking marking marking”.

Probably going down a rabbit hole here, but I found a Florida address for PS on mylife.com. When I searched Florida records, I found 2 traffic violations for PDS (Search, search by name). Birth year matches, and the citations show an AL license with county of 1, which is Jefferson.

The records also show activity for PS, no middle initial, including an eviction by the same realty company that owns the property listed as the address on mylife.com. Time frame is 2005-2006.

This would tie PS to the Pensacola area.

Please let me know if I'm not supposed to post this!

The search for Kamille McKinney and its impact on law enforcement
"WVTM 13's Xavier Harris talked to the president of the Birmingham Fraternal Order of Police to learn about the emotional and physical toll a missing child case can have on law enforcement.
"A lot of times, as we are all humans and we don't like to admit when things bother us, it's really important that your fellow coworkers, friends and family reach out as well," said Richard Haluska."

Last week police released security video of the child playing and being approached by a man just before her abduction. Click here to watch the footage.

Thank you for that, I had not seen that early live reporting yet.

My summary/observations/opinions:

Interesting that the reporter repeats several times in the beginning that it is a "confirmed kidnapping" and not a custody dispute. He says an 11 year old boy witnessed a man drive up, get out of a dark SUV, pick up KM, put her into the SUV and drive away. The SUV was described as a dark Toyota with a "brown bumper" and that there is damage to the vehicle. He says possibly a Forerunner. (Which we now know turned out to be the wrong model-- it was a Sequoia).

(Since the reporter is describing the kidnapping in front of the taped off area, it seems that is likely where the vehicle drove up and the man grabbed KM. Can anyone add a square representing this taped area to our existing maps? It would be good to see where it is in relation to the camera and where the girls were playing).

He says both parents are on the scene and visibly shaken/upset. He can see KM's dad there. He says the parents had "stepped away for a few moments" when the kidnapping happened. (I don't think that has been reported anywhere else-- later sources made it seem like the parents were not there and that KM was in the care of a relative at the time she was kidnapped. The reporter may be mistaken. MOO).

This video was before the Amber Alert was sent out but the reporter says that they expect an AA soon because of it being a confirmed kidnapping. He says in the beginning of the video that this started about 8:30 PM or about 2 hours ago. So this video is CS reporting from around 10:30 PM to about 11:45 PM on Oct 12.

About 6 minutes in there is a big commotion in the background-- a woman is screaming something unintelligible. The reporter thinks the commotion means she was found. People are yelling something about McDonalds so the reporter asks if she was at McDonalds and which one, if it was the one by the hospital. We can see the Great Grandparents in the background talking to a LEO. A woman pounds her fist in her hand, waves her hand in the air and points-- she is obviously frustrated, but I can't tell what she is yelling or who she is gesturing to.

We see KM's brother standing with some other kids with blankets on their shoulders. The kids smile a bit and play around with each other, then suddenly they start looking sad and serious again. A woman starts yelling "Amber Alert...Amber Alert... No! Amber Alert!" The camera's not focused on the woman yelling so I don't know for sure who it is or who she is yelling at. (My impression is that they thought they found her but it was a false alarm and may have delayed the AA while police checked out the McDonald's tip. Then after that it seems family members were adamant that LE needed to send out the AA right away. MOO).

The reporter then explains that the people in the crowd had been yelling that KM was found at McDonald's but that turned out not to be true. She is still missing. As the reporter is saying this (About 10 minutes in) there is another commotion. The reporter zooms in on a crowd that includes many of KM's family members rushing towards the far side of the taped area and yelling at each other. Police officers break up the argument and separate people. We see KM's mom being pulled away from the crowd by another woman. About 15 minutes in we see KM's brother crying loudly as he is put in the back of a car to be taken from the scene. (Poor kid. It's hard to tell what is going on but it seems to be chaos and arguing within the family. So sad to see. MOO.)

About 32 minutes in a train is heard going by and blaring its horn loudly. (This surprised me. Will have to check a map to see where the train tracks are located).

The reporter comes back on the video around 50 minutes in and says this is officially an Amber Alert now. He repeats that this does not have to do with any custody issue and it is a kidnapping, which is scary. He says he has been on the scene since 10:15 PM to report on the case. LE put up the yellow crime scene tape about 45 minutes ago. He repeats the vehicle info. He says police are searching heavily in the complex and all over the city. He repeats for anyone to call 911 if they have seen KM and says it is almost midnight there. He signs off with about 12 minutes left of video that just shows KM's face and name for the rest of the time.

That’s really great sleuthing. Of note to me was the criminal traffic for driving while license suspended. http://public.escambiaclerk.com/BMW...Details/1421069?digest=0R9gB4BVDv19nf8iTkDe1w

Thank you so much for that summary. You were great at summarizing. I will only add that reading the comments in the live will show more details about the “tip” called in to McDonald’s. I had never heard of this either when I watched it. I felt like the reporter was seeing those comments too.
