What's the latest on the reward?
(Just in case anyone with any reliable info. may happen to be reading this)

5k from the Governor's office

20k from Crimestoppers
(+3k from the "Cupcakes for Cupcake" fundraiser?)

I have read $33,000 as a few others have thrown some money in.

The chief also announced an increase in the reward for information that helps police solve the case to $20,000. The reward is offered by Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama and is separate from a $5,000 reward offered by Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey, which is contingent on providing information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case. The members of the Jefferson County Commission then each gave $1,600 from their discretionary funds to add an additional $8,000 to Crime Stoppers' reward, bringing the total offering to $33,000.

  1. ETA: Reading the post below it doesn’t really doesn’t seem to fit at all, but posting fwiw. I hate this post and want to delete it as totally irrelevant FTR, don’t kill me.

SHOT IN THE DARK I KNOW:

Do any locals know anything about Vestavia Hills? Shot in the dark, but it appears to be one potential area where trafficking is concentrated. I’m not looking at just the trafficking itself, but the traffickers themselves, again isolating potential areas of concentration where ones who participate in these types of atrocities may exist. If she’s been passed off perhaps something is more internet based, and not your classic “trafficking” type situation as she is a toddler, so she could be in a private residence and not in a hotel, etc. Gosh she could be anywhere.

    Vestavia Hills:
    12 min (6.7 mi)
    via US-31 N

This area is south of Birmingham, and passes through “Homewood”, also mentioned in some reports.

FBI: 49 arrested in metro-Birmingham human trafficking operations

    ——

“More than a dozen people were arrested by Homewood police and FBI agents as part of a nationwide sex trafficking operation.

Hundreds of law enforcement agencies – more than 400 of them – took part in Operation Independence Day with the FBI Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force groups in each of the FBI’s 56 field offices.“

14 arrested on prostitution charges in Homewood in FBI human trafficking operation

    —-

    Another area:

“hotels and motels along the Oxmoor Road and Lakeshore Parkway exits off Interstate 65.”

    ——-

    Riverchase / Hoover

    —-

Hotels & Motels near I-65 in Birmingham, AL | HotelGuides.com

    —-

“I-20, due to its direct connection between Atlanta and Birmingham, is one of the main routes for traffickers. And I-65, I-59, and I-459 all interconnect with major ports and cities, making it a magnet for illegal trafficking activity.”

$150 billion human trafficking industry flows through Birmingham

    —-

“I-20 is a 1,513 mile stretch of highway that runs halfway across America, from West Texas to South Carolina.

The stretch of I-20 between Atlanta, Georgia, and Birmingham, Alabama, which is used by over 10 million people each year, has the unenviable title of being the Sex Trafficking Superhighway, “America’s number one road for human sex trafficking.”

And business along I-20 is booming. Sex trafficking is the world’s fastest growing illegal activity. It is a $13 billion per year business in the United States alone, and 75% of the victims are being trafficked as sex slaves.”

The 'Sex Trafficking Superhighway' most Alabamians don't even realize runs through their state - Yellowhammer News

    ——

•I realize none of this is relevant at this moment and I’m sure there are an infinite number of areas where trafficking exists. Just brainstorming. I realize there is nothing to indicate a connection to any of these areas or activities, but looking to see where the traffickers potentially conglomerate. As I said earlier, if they’re willing to exploit teenagers and are involved in such activities then maybe...again, maybe they want to start raising someone into this industry. If she has been passed off
I would lean more towards a private CP ring type thing done via the internet.

    —-

    Now this is scary:

““[Some people think], ‘We’re safe. We live in Mountain Brook or Hoover, and it takes place only in poverty-stricken areas.’ But it can happen anywhere at any time,” he said. “Everybody’s child is a potential trafficking victim, and it can happen quickly. If you go to the Summit [shopping area], for instance, you may see a parent who wants to slip into a store, so he or she tells the kids to wait outside [of the store] or don’t run off, thinking that they are safe. It takes literally seconds for someone to grab a kid and throw him or her into a truck. Within 24 hours, that child could be on their way to South America.””

$150 billion human trafficking industry flows through Birmingham

    (South America?? )
Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Homewood, mountain brook and Pelham are all pretty nice towns. You wouldn’t suspect this type of thing would operate there, but i guess that’s why it does. I haven’t checked the numbers, but I’d suspect overall crime to be significantly down compared to surrounding areas. Hoover might be higher bc of a higher population, it’s the largest high school in Alabama. This kind of trouble isn’t organically from these areas listed. Like I said, it’s not suspected there. I’ll leave a picture, everything inside the circle, I would consider pretty rough areas. There are pockets inside inner city Birmingham that are safe, but generally speaking these are going to be your higher crime rate areas.

So further considering awareness space, for PS we have known ties to:

1. Center Point (Jefferson County)
2. Pensacola (Escambia County)

3.

@SouthAussie , before I note the 3 locations you mentioned (B, M, P) can you please verify the middle names, I don’t want to make the same mistake I just did and I’m too crosseyed to check at the moment. If it is indeed him I will bring forward an amended list with all his known locations so far. Tia.

What all known locations and documents do we have for QJ??

I am sure it is him with Pensacola FL and Bessemer AL. Same middle name. (In White Pages)
With Mobile AL and Prichard AL it is the first and last name and age of 39 years old. No middle names stated there for any of the entries (though it does also say Birmingham AL for that person). So not 100% sure on those two.

Is there a DOB on the last two? Thank you for checking.

This is interesting, obviously speculation and no source to link ur elsewhere online I saw a post by a woman who says she called in a sighting of KM in a grocery store parking lot in Tampa, she thought the girl was with her mum but something about the mums behaviour was off enough for her to take note, then later she saw the AA and recognised the child. I believe she reported it to LE.

Not stating as fact and all MOO
Do you know when this sighting happened? I sure hope somebody has reviewed the cameras (if there were any). You just never know!

No, the age looks like one of the fields that changes as the years go by. I do think it is a current age, and it also states Birmingham AL along with Mobile and Prichard - which is why I think it is him. But I cannot be 100% sure. It could be possible there is another 'Pat Stallworth' of his age that has lived in all three of those places.

I dont want to give us a false lead.

The search for Kamille McKinney and its impact on law enforcement
Updated: 9:45 PM CDT Oct 21, 2019

Snippet of video transcript:

“LAW ENFORCEMENT IS STOPPING AT NOTHING UNTIL SHE'S FOUND. >> WE'RE LIVE AT POLICE HEADQUARTERS. XAVIER, THIS IS TAKING A TOLL ON INVESTIGATORS. >> WITH SO MUCH MANPOWER AND SO MUCH EMOTION INVOLVING THIS CASE, INVESTIGATORS ARE STARTING TO TAKE IT PERSONAL.”

Snip

“OFFICERS ARE WORKING DAY AND NIGHT TO BRING THIS LITTLE GIRL BACK HOME TO HER FAMILY. I SPOKE WITH THE FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE PRESIDENT AND HE SAYS ANY TIME THE DEPARTMENT DEALS WITH CASES INVOLVING THE DEFENSELESS CHILDREN IT BECOMES PERSONAL. >> A LOT OF TIMES, AS MUCH AS WE DON'T LIKE TO ADMIT THINGS BOTHER US, IT'S IMPORTANT THAT YOUR CO-WORKERS REACH OUT, WHEN YOU SEE A FELLOW CO-WORKER THAT'S PUTTING IN SO MUCH TIME YOU'VE GOT TO REMIND THEM THAT THEY DO HAVE A FAMILY AT HOME. THEY NEED TO GO HOME AND HAVE THAT DOWN TIME BECAUSE WITHOUT THAT DOWNTIME THEY ARE LESS PRODUCTIVE THAN THEY NEED TO BE. >> HE SAYS THE DEPARTMENT HAS PEER PROGRAMS SET UP FOR OFFICERS TO GET A ONE-ON-ONE CONVERSATION WITH OTHER OFFICERS, TO SEE HOW THEY COPE AND DEAL WITH EXPERIENCES THAT THEY FACE OUT IN THE STREETS.”

Snip

“WE DO WANT TO REMIND YOU THERE IS A REWARD FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO KAMILLE MCKINNEY'S SAFE RETURN OR AN ARREST IN THIS CASE. THAT NUMBER STILL SITS AT $25,000, INCLUDING $5,000 FROM THE GO'S OFFICE AND THE REST FROM CRIMESTOPPER DONATIONS.”

The incident happened July 13, 2018 and Brown was charged then with three counts of kidnapping, second-degree assault, attempting to elude and four counts of reckless endangerment. Her lawyer argued that she could not be charged with kidnapping because there was no court order mandating she not have her children.

The kidnapping charges were dismissed by a judge in November 2018, but were reinstated in January 2019 when a grand jury indicted her on the three felony kidnapping charges. She is set to go on trial in that case on Nov. 18.

[...]

Investigators said they have not yet discovered any connections between Stallworth and Brown and Kamille’s family. "We have no connection between them right now,'' Smith said.

Smith said he can’t discuss specifics of the investigation. "The evidence that we have thus far is videotape evidence and witnesses who connected us to the vehicle as well as the people involved,'' he said.

He said he believes there are other suspects still at large.

I agree, I'm not too sure of how much faith to put into that it was an "impromptu abduction" either. It might have been spur of the moment in that little cupcake was an opportunity for whoever took her, but it seems to me that this was planned by possibly multiple people. If POI #1 is PS and POI #2 is DIB and there's a POI #3 (first person in sureveillance video) then that's at least 3 people possibly involved in this... what's going on and what has become of Cupcake?!?

Also agree that if there's anything good to come out of this (hopefully Cupcake alive and unharmed) it's to remind parents to please be vigilant on where your little ones are at all times

Ita!

Pedophiles already have a preset plan in place at all times. They are always cruising areas looking for vulnerable targets to kidnap.

Many carry kidnapping kits in their vehicles that may be needed to subdue or restrain the victim child. :(

Most are opportunistic predators, and strike without warning. The sickos know it's what gives them the advantage knowing they have kidnapped the child without anyone having time to react. So they can do this even though others may be around the child.

It also gives them cover because they know people assume children are safer in numbers. Others select children who they see alone, and vulnerable. Others select their target, then stalk the home of the family, child, and enter the home in the middle of the night when the child is sleeping along with their families.

Many families had dogs in their home yet the dogs didnt bark nor did the family members wake up when the pedophiles kidnapped their children from their own bedrooms.

They are the worst vile scum on earth, and deadly dangerous. They hone their skills, and for all law abiding people we have to realize they are very skilled in what they do. Ugh! They know kidnapping a child only takes mere seconds.

Look at how many children they have been able to kidnap right out in broad daylight in busy areas where no one saw or heard a thing.

I am also local and mostly agree with your map as well. I probably would have included most of central downtown, crestwood, forest park, highland park, red mtn, etc as well, although these are probably the areas you were talking about as safer pockets in the inner city.

As far as the trafficking in the metro area (Hoover, Vestavia, Homewood, Mtn. Brook), I guess anything can happen, but as a whole these areas are pretty safe. I would say the areas that are unsafe are generally closer to the interstate or major highways through the area. IMO it’s easy to tell when you are in a safe area vs not safe in the greater bhm area.

Morning @oceanblueeyes! Gosh I can never get enough of your knowledge! R u able to give a little in-site to how multiple suspects could or have come into play in this case? Have you found that most pedos that kidnap do so on their own or is it common for them to have an organized group already in place? If this is common have you heard of any cases targeted to children as young as 3? Tia

ETA:By multiple I mean more than the 2 that have already been arrested.

I also want to add to this statement ^^^ that, to me, $500,000 bail seems like a big bail amount. Very big for finding several illegal photos on his phone and some evidence of intent to distribute.

Were they doing their darndest to hold onto PS? But someone cash bonded him out.
The question is who bonded him out? If we knew that I think we could follow the money, so to speak.

Hi Ocean,

I'm glad you're following this case as you have a wealth of knowledge on abductions like these. You're right, they strike so quickly and undetected that it's difficult to protect our children from them. Yes I remember Isabel Celis, taken from her own bed with dogs and her family metres away! How can abductions like that be prevented?!

You're right too, most parents are vigilant and nobody thinks it can happen to them, until it does....

I've never let my kids play on the street with the other kids their age, they only sleep at families homes, play dates are organised and planned. Even my almost thirteen year old son is dropped off and picked up for school or leisure activities. They think I'm harsh and over protective but I tell them that they'll understand when they are older, I'll protect them the best I can while I still have breath in my body, and do my best to ensure their innocence is protected. MOO

I was responding to the article about the human trafficking bust in Pelham, Vestavia and Homewood. You are correct though, very safe areas.
