"Several Birmingham pastors came together Monday night - in the exact spot where Kamille “Cupcake” McKinney was last seen – to pray for her safe return.

A couple dozen people, including Kamille’s father and his family, attended the vigil at Tom Brown Village. Police say the 3-year-old Kamille was abducted about 8:30 p.m. Saturday while attending a birthday party.

Jasmaine Deloach, who heads Angel Arms Operation Exploited and Missing Persons in Birmingham, pleaded with Kamille’s captors to release her. “She cannot tell on you. She cannot do anything to harm you, so if you have any heart please let her go,’’ Deloach said."

Sorry, but why would the family and other party attendees search on their own, thinking they could find her, when she was literally witnessed being abducted by two people in a vehicle? That’s ridiculous. RIDICULOUS.

And that is why I question the abduction story given. There could have been an abduction that no one saw. Or the baby wandered off. Moo.

This portion of WS is viewable to the nonmembers as well as members. There’s another section, affectionately known as The Basement or Downstairs, that is members only. Among the things found downstairs is the Scanner thread where WSers post what they hear on various police scanners. Sometimes there’s good info, but often when something big is happening, LE will switch to a private channel.

He reminds me of that poor father whose son was killed by his mother in Fla. after she was supposedly knocked unconscious and discovered her child gone later. He filmed himself driving around town with a joint in his mouth searching for son. Everyone handles stress and tragedies differently.

Not familiar with that case but I do feel this father had nothing to do with this. I could be wrong.

No, I agree, it is just that the other father caught a lot of flack for smoking while searching. The video I saw reminded me of him. He was totally innocent.

It isn’t unusual for cops to hold the wrong POI in questioning for hours upon hours to then clear them or have the wrong person. It happens all the time.

I doubt they’ve lawyered up. If so I would think they’d be out by now.

If they have any warrants, LE can charge them and hold them longer.

Just to be clear... I think they are there because of Cupcake for sure whether that be a tip or whatever...didn't mean to imply this was it and they'd definitely find her or anything like that. But I really hope this is it!

But why couldn't it..? We wouldn't necessarily know instantly if they found her or at least found something that could lead to her. Or it could be nothing and they just wanted to keep people out in case it was something.
