Not sure if this has been posted or if there is anything of substance to our thread; as I just began following this horrifying abduction. I am for the most part encouraged Inside Edition posted this. They ‘for the most part seem’ to do some fairly through investigative journalism.

(‘Cupcake’s father)McKinney said he searched abandoned buildings and schools in the area of the Tom Brown Village overnight for any signs of his daughter.

Birmingham police and Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies on Sunday took the man they said was depicted in the surveillance photos into police custody and recovered a Toyota Sequoia at the Woodside Condominiums on Shadowood Circle off Roebuck Parkway across from the Cathedral of the Cross, AL.com reported.

The man’s girlfriend was also taken into police custody, authorities said. Police have called the pair persons of interest.

The couple’s detainment came after two condominium residents discussed the possibility that their neighbor was the man depicted in the photos released by police. They also reportedly agreed that an SUV parked outside the building looked like the vehicle police said the persons of interest were traveling in.

“We both called 911,” one of the residents, Ricardo McGhee, told the news site. “It wasn’t just me.”

She may be barefoot, as her shoes were found in the parking lot.

And how many parents there were? Seems strange that there were no parents with the children during a kid's birthday party, right?

I remember thinking what a detailed description of the car from an 11yr old.....to have virtually no description of the people involved other than white female and black male. Yes, now I'm really wondering if this poor little 11yr old just gave a description of a vehicle that caught his/her eye in the neighborhood but in reality this little girl was missing much earlier than we think.

Update: Search continues for missing three year old Kamille Mckinney

• The Amber Alert was extended to surrounding states to broaden the search.
  
• Monday night at 8:30 marks the 48-hour point in the search.
• The vehicle has been located along with two POI's who are being questioned.
• LE is asking for video evidence linking the two persons of interest to this case.
• The POI's are answering questions butno information given on Cupcake's location.
• Chief Smith says they will not end their command post or their search until they've found some resolution.

The guy who kidnapped a girl in TX left his wanted car in a hotel parking lot. That's how she was found alive.

IMO, the vehicle was in the neighborhood and caught the eye for some reason of the 11yr old who ended up relaying the info of her being kidnapped....possibly because he/she felt the pressure of coming up with a story/description. MOO

Of all of the negative things I can say about Alabama, IME from living here, I can truly say that the majority of people regardless of where they are from care very deeply about children. When something like this happens it affects everyone & people rally together to help, bring comfort to the families, and spread the word in hopes that it will bring a positive outcome.

Correction: The picture of Cupcake in the pink Minnie Mouse shirt was taken around Noon the day she was abducted. I am not sure it was taken at the party but it is the same day.

There appear to be bleachers/fencing behind her. Maybe at a school? Watching sports? Just wanted to clarify timing on the picture.
