It certainly looked that way. The most important thing is that they have these two in custody, so the “who” appears to have been answered.

I can’t fathom one of them not cooperating at some point, or someone with knowledge not coming forward with crucial information.

They didn’t say they were telling the truth either.

Law enforcement frequently says that that a POI or suspect is “cooperating with the investigation,” when the reality isn’t quite that black and white.

Answering questions is one thing, but answering them honestly is another. All I’m taking from that is they haven’t clammed up, and outright refused to talk.

I agree, it's odd, we have a man and a woman who took a child, although they could have harmed her,( but why?) I am not seeing it. This baby is somewhere, with someone else. They took her from a party, for some reason, easy target, or she was aimed for this. I can't see 2 adults thinking " let's go grab a child and harm her for no reason. I don't see these 2 as anything other then puppets. They will talk for sure. I'm still on the fence if this was family related or stranger related. I've watched both parents on the news and I don't think they are involved either. This could be a relative trying to payback or worse. IDK. I'm concerned with the fact that they've lived there for only a month (IIRC). Are they from that area or somewhere else? were they brought there to do this? What could possibly be the reason to take this baby?

I'm still over 400 posts behind. I'm so sad and upset that they have the two in custody but still no beautiful little Cupcake. I have a really bad feeling that I don't like and I pray it's wrong. I really, really hope this precious little girl will be found safe. I'm so sorry for her parents, the family and the whole community. She is so loved by everybody. Please, please let her be ok.

So often they don’t. I learned that in my Federal Rules of Evidence class by my professor who was a former defense attorney. He said he’d have his client memorize their responses to Miranda rights. Most were repeat offenders. So “yes, yes, no, yes”, whatever the responses were supposed to be to the questions asked, like yes I invoke my right to silence. Yes I want an attorney. No I won’t talk. Yes I understand my rights, etc.

No matter what, they pretty much all talked. Every time. Criminals think they’re smart.

I’ve only seen that one video where he asserts that Cupcake is okay and his media interviews. I haven’t seen other family. He doesn’t appear to be supporting the mother.

I agree, however his assertion that she is ok sounded more of willful thinking then fact. Like he's telling himself that she is ok. I did hear that he was supportive of the mom on his "live" interview, just not of the aunt.

This is true. He said this would never have happened if Cupcake had been at the Mother’s home instead of the aunts (mom’s cousin)

He definitely supported her in one of his news interviews on yesterday.
Considering his self-posted video today, I'm wondering if he had kind of done a 180 on that. If the she he refers to is her mom. Not sure if he means the mom, the lady POI or someone else entirely.

That was my impression too. Super sad.
