“Do not approach the child unless the child is alone and seems to be stranded. If the child is with an adult you don’t want to approach because you don’t know the mindset of the person with the child. It could be the wrong child, they [you] could be asking for trouble," said Jefferson.

Jefferson, a 24-year veteran of the Jacksonville Police Department, has experience investigating cases similar to Kamille’s. He said the community and family can help in the search by posting Kamille’s pictures in neighborhood’s and using social media to expand the search.

According to Jefferson, law enforcement manpower is limited, so the public’s help is needed when trying to solve cases.

In this video, Stoney says that the Parkway Villa Apartments in Center Point - where there was heavy LE presence and K9's last night - is the location where the second POI was found.

It said she wasn’t invited to the party so maybe people just assumed she was there if one person said she was.

LE seems to have no doubt she was taken from the birthday party and was actually there. I’m sure they have good reason to believe so. The FBI is involved, I’m guessing it has been looked into and verified that she was indeed there IMO. They’ve never wavered on where she is missing from.

The lack of info being shared, while understandable since it's an open investigation, is still somewhat alarming.

Are these two POIs ALSO the couple believed to be enticing other children with candy prior to Kamille's disappearance?

If they are cooperating, why are there no vehicle descriptions or sketches of the others that are believed to be involved? Certainly they would be able to at least provide that if they handed her off to someone else, right?

I’m wondering too if it is some type of deal situation and that’s why we haven’t heard yet. Does anyone have word on a press conference today? I do believe it is possible we will hear of arrests at a PC...

Cooperating could presumably be talking to police telling them they had nothing to do with it. One doesn't have to talk to police as we all know. You can ask for a lawyer and shut up. So if you are talking without a lawyer, one would presume you are cooperating regardless of what you are saying?

It’s interesting that they bring up a second POI but at a different location. That leads me to believe, based on early descriptions of the abductors, that the second individual, the black female, may be the black males significant other or acquaintance. Possible that the second POI is the white woman that was the other individual in the car during the abduction.

I just hope that she is truly alive and well. That's the best that we can all hope for at this point.

Who took her is anyone's guess. I still have a hard time believing right now that this was planned out- how did they know that Cupcake was going to be at this birthday party, when she wasn't even invited to the party that she attended in the first place?.

If you listen closely to the dads first interview, it seems like the cousin was the one that was suppose to be watching Cupcake (the dad talks about how he told the mom cupcake shouldn’t be over there, and that the cousin is a bad mom and doesn’t watch her kids, etc). And I believe the dad misunderstood about the party being at the cousins house- I believe the party was actually next door to the cousins house. So if Cupcake is at the cousins house often it could be possible that whoever kidnapped her knew she would be there or in that general area.

can they do door to door searches of every apartment? I’ve wondered from early on whether the kids either just saw the poi walk up to that vehicle then drive off. Then upon hearing Cupcake is missing they remember the man getting into the car and one of the kids, being kids says to the others ‘hey I think I saw him put the little girl in the car’

I know the 911 call hasn't been released, but don't some police departments have a "call log" (forget the proper name for it) that is sometimes available online that will list times/reasons/responding police officer/nearest intersection for each day? Is that available free/online for Birmingham police department?

How many apartments are there in this complex? Is it a place where everybody knows everyone? I am from UK and just keep thinking of Tia Sharp, her step grandfather had news crews, media, police, everyone in his house in the middle of summer while Tia was dead in the loft. She was missed in previous searches, my point being that she could still be in that area of where she disappeared, hidden. I do think that in situations like this police should hold the authority to at least do a walk through search of every property in the immediate area. MOO
