Found Deceased AL- Kamille "Cupcake" McKinney, 3, kidnapped from birthday party, Birmingham, 12 Oct 2019

From what I can gather she wasn’t at the birthday party (physically invited) instead playing outside with the kids of the party and unattended. So maybe her aunties house was in the same street as the party celebrations.

What exactly does "expanded the search" mean? Why is there still no AA in those neighboring states?

I am confused as well, I am not sure if it is a third POI or the two POI lived at two different apartment complexes, report was not very pacific. ( maybe because we did not hear the whole report)

It sounds like it to me. It's clear LE went to another location last night, at which time they picked up this "second" POI. That leads me to believe that one of the original pair was released or perhaps just isn't considered a POI any longer.

This is good news, though. Last night we thought that the LE presence was a dead end but this would indicate that it provided another POI.

Looks like due to lack of suspect description or car description, it wouldn't meet the criteria for an Amber Alert in Tennessee, however it seems it would meet criteria for an
"ECA-Endangeted Child Alert."

For Georgia:
Info on what is called a Levi's Call / alert though due to lack of vehicle or suspect description, it looks like criteria wouldn't be met for that either?

Family joined by community for prayer vigil as search for Kamille McKinney intensifies

The prayer vigil was held in the same spot at Tom Brown Village where police say Kamille was kidnapped Saturday night.

Pastors from several area churches also attended. Pastor Avelyn Sanders-Swafford of St. James AME church in Avondale said the family was staying hopeful, Kamille would be returned home safe.

I would feel so much better if I knew the latest POI was a white woman. It would make me believe the unlikely story of kidnapping conspiracy involving numerous participants.

As it stands right now, I feel like I am forcing square pegs into round holes to make it all fit.

I hope I am wrong and that LE is on the right track. And that Cupcake will be found soon.

I'm thinking the police must have a good reason for expanding their search to other states (maybe what they were told by the two current POI's?); and if it was the two current POI's, I bet the police can gain something by playing on female jealousy.

I didn’t notice anything new that hasn’t been posted. And no mention of a possible 3rd POI from last night either- just the two POI’s that are still currently being held and questioned.

How many apartments are there in this complex? Is it a place where everybody knows everyone? I am from UK and just keep thinking of Tia Sharp, her step grandfather had news crews, media, police, everyone in his house in the middle of summer while Tia was dead in the loft. She was missed in previous searches, my point being that she could still be in that area of where she disappeared, hidden. I do think that in situations like this police should hold the authority to at least do a walk through search of every property in the immediate area. MOO

I agree and hope that extensive searching of all vehicles, trunks, close by apartments, sheds, etc are all searched extensively. She may have been tired and with all the commotion of the partygoers she may have found a quiet place to doze off and somehow got locked or trapped wherever she went.

Im reminded of the sad case where a young boy got trapped in a van. Just hoping extensive searching was done to make sure nothing like this could have happened.
