I am so sorry to hear of your food poisoning, @Gardener1850 - God speed recovery to you.

I'm sick to my stomach- more like butterflies, I guess, just thinking of Cupcake and going back and forth- is she alive, and if she is, is she being used for disgusting evil purposes while LE tries to find her.

I also feel she is deceased, and I don't know why. It's a rare occasion that a young child is found alive after abuse. I just don't see anyone that may use this child for child suddenly having a heart and returning her, when they're done. God, I hate myself for typing that and am making myself sick, just thinking about it.

I want to believe she is alive and ok- there's a shred of hope that could be the case, but after reading about the child charges, I just don't think so. I knew yesterday about the girlfriend's kidnapping- violent woman herself, makes me sick she got away with a slap in the wrist like that. Big whoop, probation!

Thanks Steelslady. I'll recover soon I think, I'm not sure if my sudden recurrence of illness tonight was from the food poisoning or from reading this case... It's really gut-wrenching to think of any child enduring abuse. Every case it comes up I'm physically ill just thinking about it. I'm trying to hold out hope for Cupcake but it sure is difficult. It's a rare case when a small child taken for CP related reasons is found alive. But we have to think positively that it does happen sometimes. Last year a 4 year old in SC was found alive after being taken and raped by a violent perp who had also beat and raped her mother: Found Alive - SC - HT, 4, Johns Island, 13 Feb 2018 *Arrest*
I pray there can be a good ending in finding Cupcake alive too. But with the main suspects already arrested and her not being found yet, it is looking grim. Only slim hope is if they handed her off to someone who is keeping her alive.

I wondered that too. Maybe the child said she was wearing white (as in clothes) and it got misunderstood as she was white (as in race). Another thought is she could have had a blonde wig on and maybe the child witness only saw her hair from behind and assumed it was a white woman due to her hair. MOO.

It may be nothing but a common last name. I don't know how common that name is as far as if there is a possible connection. But thought I would throw it out there for anyone who wants to sleuth and send in a tip if by some chance they are found to be related/connected to one another.

She was close to her family, but when she "allegedly" returned and went to the police station to tell them she was no longer missing, she didn't contact her family after. Since the beginning I thought love triangle, real father drama. And I think the part of me that’s new to following these cases wants to believe that. Then I convince myself that maybe, just maybe, someone else is/was trying to retaliate against our two suspects and set them up and Cupcake is safe.

I agree and it's so frustrating. LE should have answers they need or at least some of them. Maybe they do are just holding on to it to prevent others from running. The PC's they've had just lead to more questions and suppositions. Something's amiss here. jmo
