When I was looking through DB's instagram, I got the feeling that viewed her children as objects quite a bit. So many posts about how she did so much for them. She said stuff about how their "hair is always layed" (i assume that means done nicely), how much she spent on them, pictures of all the stuff she bought them. Even the pics where they were sleeping, it was like she had a nice car that she kept detailed, modded and was proud of. Not the same way you see a lot of moms brag about their kids (personality quirks, sweet acts they did, things they learned). This is all MOO of course, it was just the vibe I got from her page.

MOO- I got the same feeling when I viewed DBQJ Instagram. The lude photos of herself, then other photos of her children sprinkled throughout... seemed like she was taking pictures of a car for sale; pics of the children at each angle (front, back, side), strange video of the kids in bed, etc... not like loving mother's photos of candid moments or happy selfies together. Stark contrast and made me feel very uncomfortable and sorry for her children. MOO
I also get the feeling that this is how she & PS crossed paths, and may be the reason law enforcement made comments about investigating involvement of any other persons. IMO CP/abuse ring locally. She lost her kids (payday) & needed a child to exploit (MOO). I feel that both individuals are equal partners with sick minds. All my opinion only of course!

I wouldn’t be surprised if he pleads “not guilty” the case gets moved or at the very least his attorney requests it. Due to the huge interest/publicity here it might be difficult to find a jury.

I have no doubt that you're right that the request will be made, Drc40, but, I can tell you this... even way up here in Canada, he'll be hard-pressed to find a sympathetic juror, let alone an entire panel of them!

It's so weird because I find myself desperate to know how/why/where, but as we learn more, it's all the more heartbreaking MOO

No matter the timing of her death, none of it would comfort anyone, especially her loved ones.

I am grateful, though, that it appears it happened on the same night she was kidnapped. At least the poor sweetheart wasn't subjected to another moment of hell and torture by those two sick varmints from hell. She went through enough, just being kidnapped alone. I can't let myself think too much of what happened after- I don't think they just took her and simply suffocated her, know what I mean?

This angers me. Today, we brought our daughter in for her yearly cancer check- we lost her twin just before birth. How I would have loved her twin to have survived- we are so blessed with our daughter, as well as her older siblings, brother and sister. To lose one child and come close to losing another, due to circumstances beyond our control, just makes me more angry when I see what other children suffer through, at the hands of monsters. My daughter and I talked about Cupcake on the way to the hospital, and she was horrified to hear what happened. She couldn't understand the why's and hows of such perversion, and how PS was let out of prison earlier last week because someone posted bond. Then she heard about DB's incident with her kidnapping at gun point, and she angrily said "why the heck did this lady ever get out of jail? Obviously, if she threatened to kill her own kids, she wouldn't have a problem killing someone elses!"

I have no sympathy or compassion toward either one of them. Sick isn't a strong enough word. No punishment could ever be enough for the hurt and pain they caused not only Cupcake, but her brother and other siblings, her parents, grandparents, etc. Even PS and DB's families are suffering due to their actions. Their actions caused a devastation that is basically world wide- Cupcake has people from all over the world grieving- many of us never met her, but she touched our hearts. I can't imagine how her family is surviving this.

Exactly. This may be the first time that they have killed a child, but there's just no way, in my opinion, that they haven't done disgusting acts towards other children before this.

I still cringe when I think of her kidnapping her own children at gun point, even threatening to kill them if someone tried to take them away from her. Yet she was out free as a bird, to harm another child.

We know he had child , so that’s one level.

Murder is the most extreme.

There’s a lot of middle ground there for crimes like sexual abuse, and God knows what else.

If he was younger, it would theoretically be possible for something like this to be his first crime. It’s rare, but it’s happened.

He’s 39 though, so it’s highly unlikely he made this jump.

He had CP on his phone. With a bit of drug related offense history.

This girl has a long history (years wise) of incidents with children. Including putting one in a washing machine, whatever that entailed.

I'm starting to wonder if she's the dominant one who met the perfect sidekick.
