This may be a silly question, but the police do provide a place to lie down and rest for those being held for 72 hours don't they? I can imagine there were some long hours of questioning, but that is a long time to go without sleep.

The silence surrounding this case, and now (after a fair bit of buzz and traffic at least on WS) the Adrienne Salinas case both make me sad that it seems like justice for whomever was behind what happened to both of them may never come.

Don't worry Bug ! If the perp is a God fearing man and I believe that perp is :) ( mostly because a lot of their friends probably were and not just the perp ;) ) then that perp is suffering already. And even if jail time never comes, which would suck, God will get his vengeance. And my personal opinion, growing up in the church with a wicked MAN-O-GOD for a grandfather, is that those who hide behind the cloth are going to get it way way worse for their crimes/ sins than those who do not. I have to feel like God's not real happy about folks using him to commit horrendous crimes against his children.

Bumping for Karen and continuing to pray for answers in what happened to her and justice to come to the individual who killed her.

  • #606
I think police have the answers they need and they know who did it.

Something is not right. The person who murdered this woman is getting away with it.

Murder will out, as they say.

Just thought I'd check to see if anyone's heard anything about this case. I continue to check our local newspaper and tv stations as well as the al.com site for any updates but there have been none.

I wish someone who knew Karen would come on here and possibly shed some light on this case. For now, I see there's nothing new :(

I can't believe there's been no news on this! C'mon, a prominent pastor's wife is brutally killed and nothing? Something strange going on....

  • #610
I think the guilty party is twisting in the wind right now - and justice is coming, soon!

I hope you are right but I suspect there are influential people who would do what they can to sweep this dirt under the rug. Women are treated like unpaid employees in some churches. The man is important, honored, respected and admired; the wife is the scapegoat for all problems.

If the pastor was the one who was brutally attacked and bludgeoned to death in his own home I doubt we would be listening to crickets chirping.

I've read through this whole thread....but I don't know if I missed it. Do we know HOW she was killed? Or when?

LE has been very quiet and has not said how she was murdered only that she was "brutally murdered" and LE has not said when she was murdered.

OT
Here is a story on 20/20 that I had not heard of before. A former Marine, Randy Stone, was murdered by his pastor and friend and the Marine's wife, Teresa Stone, conspired with their pastor to murder him! After watching this show and part of the interrogation of those two, I though LE would arrest them right away. I cannot remember how long it took to arrest the pastor, but the wife was not arrested until a year later. So, I guess I will have to be patient in this case. I am afraid the murderer will get away with it! LE is so quiet on this one IMO!

Thanks Sulamith.

The reason I clicked on this thread was a horror of a murder we had here in Nashville about 15 years or so ago. A preacher was found beheaded in his church. Turned out that the preacher beheaded the handyman and tried to make it look like him so he and his wife could get the insurance money and leave country. No-one would attend the church after that, it being desecrated and all. I drove by there last year.....it does seem to have an evil air about it. I wouldn't go to church there either.

I can't believe there hasn't been any updates. I can't even find current news articles. It amazes me that the community isn't screaming for answers... So sad.

Bumping for Karen.

Any of our locals got anything to report?

You have not been forgotten, Karen! :heartbeat:

I'm one of the locals and there hasn't been a peep here on any of the newscasts or newspapers since maybe August on this murder. I hope they're not going to let it go cold :(
