An Alabama property owner discovered the skeletal remains of an adult human when surveying their private property on March 22. The area in which they were found is described as “very secluded” and “wooded.”

Investigators reportedly believe the remains have been there for a “long time.”

Here’s an earlier article (and archive) that did not specify the remains were skeletal. This article does specify they were found within the “5000 block of County Road 10.”

Lauderdale Co. itself is at the top of Alabama and borders both Tennessee and Mississippi. This particular spot (Co. Rd. 10) is closer to Tennessee.
