@The Handyman perfectly well stayed in the wee hours this morning!!
“Friend” has been referenced with female pronouns in news articles.Do we know if the friend is male or female?
Where would I find pictures from that night? I've read a couple of references to these pictures on WS.Another bit of info.... The bar is really well lit and pics from that night show the band playing and groups photographed in bright lighting. The crowd is older.... Lots of great hair and work parties. Just not what I imagined when thinking of a dimly lit, young bar.
I believe her car was left at her friend’s house the day she went missing. I don’t believe her car was ever missing.Does anyone know if her car has been located?
I’ve seen well-lit photos of the bar from posts visitors have made online, tags from people who were hanging out there, and bands who performed there. When a band is not performing, it looks very bright in there -especially to be a bar. Moo...Where would I find pictures from that night? I've read a couple of references to these pictures on WS.

It looks like WBRC removed their article and video.
Ahhhh thank you - so all that hoopla about her leaving alone was just sloppy MSM?Here’s an explanation from WBRC as to why the video was removed:
It's inexcusable for MSM to get a fact THAT incorrect. Here’s an explanation from WBRC as to why the video was removed:

Thank you!
The comment from WBRC states " BPD video shows Houston leaving bar alone was not correct, so we have removed the video. The story is correct ... just not the banner you see on the screen". "Hope that makes sense".

Houston we have a problem ...
Not making fun of the situation, just inserting some levity. Is it possible for the men to have been at the Tin Roof that night, but not captured on video? The stupid part of this story; if BPD told the reporter they can't find the two men on video, wouldn't the obvious questions then be "Do you see Paighton on video? Do you see her leave alone? Is there surveillance from neighboring businesses?"
I guess releasing this tidbit and nothing further, could be meant to put pressure on a certain person?
I only see the person described as co worker or friend, not male or female but maybe I have missed that.“Friend” has been referenced with female pronouns in news articles.![]()
The coworker could have gone to a home other than the one the car was at to sleep, so she/he wouldn't know her car was at the house. Her parents said she went out with coworkers (plural) so the one she text may not have been the one she drove to the bar with, or the one she drove with could have gone to someone's house other than her own to sleep, then saw the message in the morning. It's in all the early reports that the text came in at about 12:15??( Don't have it in front of me) and the friend didn't immediately call or text back because she didn't see it until morning. It's also been widely circulated by family/friends that Paighton didn't drive, her car was left at the coworker's house.
So I'm putting those bits together and wondering why the coworker just went on to sleep. That's strange.
Yes. That was my immediate reaction when I first read the article last night. LE (and her family, at LE’s direction, IMO) was playing dumb before, hoping that someone would come forward with information, but that hasn’t worked, and now, they’ve decided, it’s time to turn up the heat.Thank you!
