Question:
We know PH was very ill previously, I don't remember the medical term. It was related to her heart IIRC. Would drinking alcohol impact the condition?

Endocarditis. I wouldn’t think so, but I’m not a doctor.

The coworker could have gone to a home other than the one the car was at to sleep, so she/he wouldn't know her car was at the house. Her parents said she went out with coworkers (plural) so the one she text may not have been the one she drove to the bar with, or the one she drove with could have gone to someone's house other than her own to sleep, then saw the message in the morning.

Also, we don't know that her car was still at the coworker's house. We've made that assumption since she's missing, but we don't know that she didn't get it and drive somewhere else, and something bad happened after that.

^^MMO, but if that were the case, BPD would most certainly put out an alert for a missing person in an “x” vehicle with Tag xyz, don’t you think?

I haven’t seen anything as to where Paighton had left her vehicle or where it was located once she was reported missing. If the information is available, I would like to know. The same goes for where the coworker went after she left the Tin Roof.

According to this article:
“‘I know [Paighton] left our home Friday morning for work and was in contact with her family throughout the day,’ Charlaine Houston said. ‘She sent the message to the coworker that she rode with to the Tin Roof that “if I call answer, I don’t know these people and I feel in trouble.” We want to know every detail and we want Paighton to come home safely to us.’” (BBM)

So the coworker Paighton texted is the one she rode to the bar with, IMO.

No video of the 2 guys. Is there ANY video of her at the bar?

It sounds like somebody writing the headlines extrapolated incorrectly that if it was thought she left with two men, but the men weren't on the video, then that must mean she left alone.

I believe this is exactly what happened.

I have to admit that if not for the Kelsey Berreth case where the murderer and his accomplice did not show up on surveillance video every time they entered or exited the victims condo, I too would have thought PH left the bar alone-- and not that the camera may have missed the men.

I'm also getting the feeling that the surveillance video recording the entry/exit is located in the exterior of the establishment. MOO

I agree with @inmyhumbleopinion that Paighton may have overdosed that night, just not sure who she was with when it happened.

Very good question -- and this from Dec 22, 2019 ABC/33-40 news:

The family of 29 year old Paighton Houston says they are waiting and praying for answers. Houston has not been heard from in three days since leaving the Tin Roof bar in Birmingham's Lakeview district around 10:45pm Friday. She was seen leaving with two men. A friend says she saw them from across the bar and she cannot identify the men. [bbm]

I think it's possible that the only record of PH leaving the establishment is the recollection of a friend.

I recall management made a point of telling the media that they hire off duty LE to work security on busy nights which makes me curious on how many working surveillance cameras exist inside/outside the Tin Roof Bar.

Is the timeline verified that at:
10.30p Arrived at Tin Roof
10.45p Left Tin Roof
12.15a Sent Text
?

Thank you!

From the article:
“Message provided by missing persons site:

-Paighton didn’t drive the night she disappeared. Her car was left at a friend’s house.”
So now I’m wondering which “missing persons site” the reporter is referring to, as well as which friend (not your fault, lmr; your information definitely helps).
Hi Humble one:) Just e-mailed the reporter asking which site info was pulled from. Will let you know if I hear back!

The vehicle may not be missing, but we also do not know it is/was at her co-worker's house.

I do not believe the arrival or 10:30 pm verified (not by MSM). (I believe 10:30 was the start time for the band).

That's kind of the impression I was getting...some MSM said 10.30p was the time she left, but I think that is just a mistake. Thanks.

Wow! Thank you for going above and beyond. It’s much appreciated. I just happen to think it’s important that we work with good information :).

There appears to be some conjecture out there that LE has a lot of information and is just playing a game of stratego trying to shake out information from various sources who have not come forward yet, but I am starting to think they are coming clean when they say they just have no leads. The longer PH is missing, the less likely this is going to have a positive outcome, and if there is more info out there than just the time of leaving and the time of the text, it's possible the time for game-playing has passed. Just my 2d...

Quite honestly, the only thing I feel certain of is Paighton left her house that morning intending to go to work and texted her mother at some point during the day. The rest seems to be rumors, innuendo, guesses, assumptions and theories perpetuated by sloppy MSM reporting, none of which have really been confirmed by LE.
