GUILTY AL - Patrick McNair & Stephanie Hughes for child abuse, Phenix City, 2011

PHENIX CITY, Ala. --
33-year-old Patrick McNair and 26-year-old Stephanie Hughes are accused of burning their children's hands, beating them with two-by-fours, making them put hot sauce in their mouths, and spanking them with a belt. All of the children are under 10 years of age. The children are Hughes'.
Both have been charged with four counts of willful torture of a child. They each face a bond of $200,000. Both Hughes and McNair appeared before Russell County Judge Albert Johnson this morning.

In the above link it says they had just moved to there from Florida.....Hmmm I'm sure there is some kind of activity that was happening in FL also. JMO

August 2012:

A Phenix City man convicted last month of forcing four children's hands into a fire was sentenced Friday to 40 years in prison and a $40,000 fine.

Patrick A. McNair, 34, was found guilty on four counts of child abuse...



Stephanie J. Hughes, 28, also faces charges in connection with the child abuse. Landreau said she's pleaded guilty to four counts of child abuse and faces 28 years in prison. She also testified against McNair at his trial.
