Authorities are asking for your help in finding a missing Atmore grandmother

The Escambia County (Ala.) Sheriff’s Department is looking for Ronda Carol Woods. She has not been seen or heard from since March 14. The sheriff’s office and her family say that they are concerned about her safety.

Several news organizations reported recently that Ronda Carol Woods, 48, of Atmore, is missing. Family members say they’ve not spoken with Woods since March 14. However, according to officials with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department, they’re handling the case as a welfare status case. It’s not officially a missing person case. Woods apparently left a note explaining that she was leaving, and according to sheriff officials, the note has been identified as being written in her handwriting.
