Birmingham police are searching for a man who hasn’t had contact with family for nearly a month.

Roosevelt Lassiter, 30, hasn’t been in touch with family members since Dec. 6, 2018, police said. Officers checked his home and found the door ajar, but his belongings and vehicle were there, police said.

It’s uncommon for him to be gone for an extended period of time without communicating with family members, police said.
