Hi, all! I've been here reading when I can to catch up.

I can hardly bear to see the murderer's disgusting face. I hope there will be a decision this afternoon. Will the judge set another hearing when the jury hands in their recommendation? Trials these days are too drawn out in my opinion. I know all about the presentencing reports and so forth, but that is something that could be done during the trial to be ready for sentencing should there be a guilty verdict. Again, JMO.

I'd much rather the sentence be handed down the moment a guilty decision is made.

Thank you all for the tweets. Trial by tweet is very tedious and tweets do not do justice to voice inflections and so forth.

There must be excessive brutality, and the crime must be pitiless and unnecessarily torturous. Jury allowed to show pity, mercy, & sympathy.

I think so. A tweet about an hour ago said that they were to have lunch and start deliberating. I don't know if that meant that they are eating while deliberating or that they ate first.

well, after going back and really reading tweets of the charging by the judge, there is no doubt in my mind (not that there ever was)......

this murder CLEARLY qualifies for the death penalty and i pray that this jury recommends it to the judge and that he bestows it upon this monster as soon as possible.......
