Steve Keszthelyi, age 79, was last seen about 7:50 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park on Wortel Road in Elberta, AL. He told his wife he was going for a walk in the woods and hasn’t been seen since. Mr. Keszthekyi suffers from advanced Alzheimer’s and there is a concern for his well-being. He is described as 5’6”, 170 lbs., with white hair and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, red shorts and tennis shoes. He is originally from Hungary and may speak Hungarian. He has recently been talking about going home and it’s possible he tried to find something reminding him of his childhood. Mr. Keszthekyi is without a cell phone, but took his ID. If you see him, please keep him in your sight and contact the police. He may be confused, but is very approachable.

I also hadn't realized he went missing a year ago.... Sadly, it appears he's never been found.

His "Help Find Steve Keszthelyi" FB page:

Help Find Steve Keszthelyi

They had a search in March 2019, but he is still missing.

He is also still listed with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Community Information Center as a missing senior alert:

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Online Services (ETA: Enter missing senior alert, then "Keszthelyi" as the last name--his info should show up)
