I do a lot of work with the families of the older cases and sometimes these families will reach out to other families of the missing and they too will get in touch with me. The family of Raymond Harris missing since 1970 got me in touch with the family of Albert Kling missing since 1979. His Namus is pending, though we do know that he is a missing persons via the old newspaper article that I have attached below. The date of death is stated as 1986, though this is when he was declared dead.
What we know about Albert Kling is that he was a WW2 vet and on the day of his disappearance he supposably hitchhiked from his daughters house in Fort Calhoun to Omaha to buy booze and see "the love of his life" who was actually his ex gf and they had been broke up over a year. However, it seemed from the very git go, that foul play may have been involved in his case. The family did give me a copy of the original case file as well. which had been archived and put in storage, it was never computerized. He went missing July 3, 1979.
