After hearing her on the video Hannah does not sound mature enough to be an armorer MOO
While working on the film The Old way, she sent weapons provider Seth Kenney messages asking if she could “shoot hot rounds out of the trap door”, according to the report.
“Wtf is a hot round?” Mr Kenney responds, to which Ms Gutierrez-Reed said: “Like a pretty big load of actual ammunition.”
The report says that Mr Kenney advised her to “never shoot live ammo out of TV or movie guns, and to only use blanks”.
“It’s a serious mistake, always ends in tears,” he said.
“Good to know, I’m still gonna shoot mine tho,” Ms Gutierrez-Reed replied.
Haven't watched the whole thing, but this has Halyna near the beginning. Also has a bunch with Hall, HGR, the ranch owner etc that I haven't seen in any of the others.
Cross draw. Depending on how fast AB was practicing, who knows where the gun is going to point at...and the pictures above seem to definitely show AB with his finger on the trigger.
No statute of limitations on charges of murder? Or even involuntary manslaughter. I don't really see any criminal charges happening here...but I wouldn't want that hanging over my head.
Investigation continues...
‘Rust’ shooting: Sheriff doesn’t think ‘anyone is off the hook’ for criminal charges
Oh wow, that was added after I posted. So sad.
Agreed. And IMHO the people who hired her should have recognized that.
I’m convinced that her age and relative inexperience is exactly why she was hired.
No professional armourer would do multiple jobs for discount rates and would never have accepted a rehearsal without their presence nor would they have accepted a refusal to attend firearm safety lessons.
Looks like the statute of limitations in New Mexico is 2 years for misdemeanors, and 3 or more for felonies. LE has a lot of time to think things over.

@mickey2942 bbm rbmInteresting, from your link..
"The statute of limitations does not run when:
1. The defendant has fled the state;
2. The defendant is not usually a resident of the state".
Interesting. So, if the defendant is NOT a resident of the State of Arizona, the "Statute of Limitations" does NOT run...
Yes, LEO can take as much time as they want here.
Is that the correct interpretation of that law?
Very interesting Gardenista, but I think you posted it in wrong thread....Some phone recordings I hadn't heard before at about 1:24:20 and 1:38:35. His stammering when the detective busts him in a lie from the second timestamp is quite telling

Such a great case of dramatic acting, IMO.
