Thank you pray for my other son to 22, he is on a Navy Sub and we dont know where they are. Im freaking out about him cause we have no contact until they surface. But when they do he will see about 3 million emails from me, lol. My 18yo I get emails from about weekly.

DC, I am an Army mom as well. Son came back from Iraq last Oct. and will probably go to Afghanastan this Nov. I slept with my phone in my bra and bathed with the phone in the shower.
Sorry to get off topic from KC, but needed you to know, your boys are in my prayers daily. If you have a melt down day, I am here for you.

:Banane35::rolling: I WISH THEY WOULD TOO !!

Hey, let's say someone was to give that truth serum to Cindy to administer to Casey without her knowing. Would that be legal since she is her mother and a nurse? If she had some kind of allergic reaction, she would know that to do....hummmm....:waitasec:

Funny, but I'm thinking Cindy would be ok with that...

Could they call in the LE at that point?

I can understant that. Maybe they feel they need to defend their daughter because they think people don't understand Casey, they always saw her like a good mother? Maybe they want to keep her close so they have a chance of her telling them the WHOLE truth? They know that if she's behind bars, she won't talk for sure, so they have to pressure her themselves? If she told them the story but said she couldn't say everything but implored them to trust her, for Caylee's sake... They might think that Casey will finally tell them where to find that little girl...

I don't know what they think, but I honestly believe that they think they are doing the best they can to find Caylee.

The Anthony's have never viewed Casey as a good mother. That's just something they have been feeding the public. Cindy was in the process of figuring out how to get custody of Caylee for a reason. Casey's parents know she is a thief and a pathological liar. Cindy had to cash in her $25K plus 401K to pay off Casey's crimes. Casey stole from Cindy parents. Cindy told her friends she was a sociopath. IMO, the reason for the Anthony's behavior after the initial 911 calls is because their daughter could be facing the DP. They sold out Caylee's right to a decent burial to save their daughters behind. Plain and simple.

I just think that GA and Ca have a long history of excusing, condoning and defending Casey. I think they perpetuated this mess and now they're in so deep it's become ridiculous. You have a mom that helicoptered Casey through High School and she still didn't graduate. Casey lied about her pregnancy for 7 months. She lied about her job. She lied about the nanny. She stole from family and friends. She was verbally abusive to her parents. Time and again, they believed her and she violated their trust. What is it going to take for them to realize that Casey is the only one that can tell them where Caylee is and what happened? When are they going to draw the line and say enough is enough? When are they going to let Casey 22 years old face the consequences and focus on Caylee who by every right should be protected, cared for and loved? Who is there from that family for Caylee?

They have enabled Casey her entire life. I did read at one point (sorry cant remember where) that Cindy had gone to counseling and was advised to get custody of Caylee? and institute "tough LOVE" (paraphrasing here) by kicking Casey out. I think this backfired when Casey took off with the baby and kept her mother from having contact....this tragic result probably has both Cindy and George mired in such GUILT that they will cover and coddle Casey at any cost.

I still can't explain their need to confront the protestors however, they just can't stay away from them.

If GA cracks, it is because of Casey. This entire situation is due to Casey. Put the blame where it belongs. The media, the protesters, the public, nor the police have brought this on their family. Their daughter did and she can end it at any time. :furious:

Except that I don't think CA would EVER have followed through on the counselor's tough love recommendation, which was a lifetime overdue! Frankly, if EVER there was a time for tough love, it is now, and still she chooses to enable KC. Sad, sad, sad.

Regarding their need to confront protestors, I understand it. They are sooo full of heartache and rage and rather than venting it where they should, on KC, they instead vent on the protestors, the media, the searchers, and the rest of the world. It reminds me of a jilted spouse if the partner has an affair--the anger is never directed at the partner, only at the intruder into the relationship. Just basic human nature, easier to be angry at the outsider than the one you love.

Eggsactly. What the truth is and what the Anthony's are feeding us are so far apart it's pissing people off. Even the Anthony's don't believe what they are saying. Their knowledge and past behavior towards Casey's antics prove that. It's insulting the public's intellegence.

I think one of the biggest reasons this case has gotten more attention than other missing children's cases is because we have a woman that is not only obscenely uncooperative but didn't report her child missing for the first 31 days. Who does that? The only people that turned this into the circus it is, is the Anthony's. Now we're 97 days in and they are still more concerned with protecting Casey, taking care of their yard and washing their cars. They know exactly what they're doing and that's trying to collect as much money to use for Casey's defense in any way they can. And to do that they have to keep up the appearance that she is out there and alive. I really hope it's a huge wake-up call when the donation scam hits the paper this weekend.

:clap::clap::clap:
TY for that gigi

""I'm done. The only thing I'm going to react to is someone comes to damage my house or to hurt my family, I'm going to do everything I can, everything in my power, to take care of it," (George) Anthony said."

George, someone HAS hurt your family! remember Caylee? even the best case scenario has someone else raising your granddaughter for the last 3 months including her 3rd birthday. Please please keep your promise that you will "do everything you can" and "everything in your power" to take care of it. "It" = Casey

They don't want to go search with TES for a dead body. That would mean, for them, that Caylee is not coming home and that Casey probably killed her! I honestly think they can't face the evidence. Not until there is a body...

Who knows, maybe Bayes is telling them he is sending PI to where the leads are coming from? Or maybe they are calling LE from where the leads are? We don't know what they are doing. They might be out of ideas and strenght. Besides all their fears, they have to deal with protestors and that's something they can try to do something about.

I might be wrong in assuming all this, but since I don't know for sure, I can't judge. I wish they would explain everything, like I posted on another thread:

http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71112&page=5

I always hear from family of victims that the "not knowing what happend" is worse than proof of worst case scenerio. It doesn't seem to be the case with the A's. You'd think they would want to know what happend to Caylee. Maybe I watch too much cable crime shows.

Referring back to my original post, I was not saying that the "protesters" had the right to behave in the manner that they did. I was simply stating that IMHO, George may want to steer clear of any mention of how Caylee may look now, 2 months in to her disappearance. I was in no way disputing the rights of A's, their neighbours, or the protestors for that matter! That is a different thread completely.

These people are so immersed in a fantasy world, which is understandable to some degree given the horrific turn their lives have taken as a result of something their own daughter quite probably did, except it is not helping Caylee in any way for them to indulge their fantasies-- that KC can be trusted on some level and is somehow lying to help Caylee who is safe and warm somewhere, not being starved, raped, tortured, filmed for Internet 🤬🤬🤬🤬, or in imminent danger of death; that really nothing bad has happened; that old pizza smells like dead bodies; that the body in the trunk was't Caylee's, that somehow this will all be alright someday. It helps the GP's and maybe Lee to hope these things so strongly that they actually begin to believe them. It helps KC, that's for sure. But poor Caylee. These dreams don't help her a whit. If she's alive while KC is baking brownies and chatting up Jose, her life is almost certainly not nearly as pleasant as her mother's, and if she's dead, she rotting without justice, while the people she loved so much and upon whom she depended with all of her little being are sheltering the person who almost certainly put her in whatever position she's in and won't help get her out. Anthonyland helps the people who created it and who are protected by it, but it doesn't help Caylee. It 's so sad.

For a split second there I thought George was finally going to break down and almost felt sorry for him at that moment . That all went away when he started talking about what Caylee looks like now .

How do we go from " The person in the back of my daughters car was not my grandaughter " to " Caylee being taller and more beautiful today "

So who is it they think was the dead body in the car if not Caylee.........WHO ???

You are right. We have worked with many families here on WS and it is the comment we hear the most. They beg for answers because the unknown is living in limbo. They know the answers may be the worst case scenario, but they still need that closure to survive. This family has done the complete opposite and refused the truth in order to cover up this crime.

In a way -- George and Cindy sort of have control of her for the first time in a long time. She's at home, probably acting like a saint.

They can't expect her to live at home forever though? Even if she escapes the law on this -- her life is going to be a living hell FOREVER. Sometimes people forget and move on -- but the entire country knows about this case and wants justice for Caylee.

I agree they have more control over her now than they have in years, but I don't think she's acting like anything remotely approaching a saint, or even a grateful daughter.

I think she's more likely to be acting like a sullen kid who leaves her room only long enough to go to the kitchen for something to eat, and take the occasional bathroom break.

Did you hear her tone of voice on the 911 call when she responds to her parents (who must be telling her to call the police) "I already did. I already did."

She might as well have continued with "So shut up and get off my back."

No wonder that girl was unable to maintain relationships for more than a few months. Who would be willing to put up with such a b!tch once they got to know her?

Ah well. Not a problem she'll have to worry about anytime soon.

Casey Anthony placed the second call to police at 1:30 a.m. to advise that her parents had been struck by the protestors. Police later determined that protestors threw three pennies, two nickels and a dime at the house.

In that same article in mentions the rocks but it seems that only CA and GA talk about the rocks. So it just comes down to what version you believe. So far no arrests, if people say that Casey has rights because she hasn't been proved guilty then I guess the same should apply to the protesters.

For me, it doesn't matter if they threw cotton balls at the house. They shouldn't be throwing AYTHING at the A's house, period.

I agree. It makes about as much sense as grabbing a dog bowl.

The Anthonys would probably be horrified to realize how much they appear to have in common with some of the protesters. The only difference is the side of the driveway they're standing on.

Sounds like George was given a "script" for the next 30 days...
I have absolutely no sympathy for the Anthony's... They turned this into the circus that it is, not the media, not LE, not the Padillas, not even the protesters!
I have followed many missing persons cases and in particular children as I am sure most of us here have, but when have you ever seen in any case:
Mother - lies, no emotion, uncooperative, arrogant, feels she is above the law.
GM - lies, no emotion, condescending, no appreciation, always on the attack, judgemental of all except Casey, exploited GD for $$, NEVER searched or even supported searchers or said thank you to anyone.
GF - lies, only emotion is rages, arrogant, always on the attack, violent, no appreciation, never a thank you, exploited GD for $$.
LA - control freak, violent, agressive even when told by LE he is wrong, no emotion.
Yes the Anthony's want our support as long as that support is according to their rules.
Yes the Anthony's want our $$ but have not spent one dime of the dollars on "searching for Caylee.
Yes the Anthony's even want our $$ to pay for Casey's defense even though they are already taking tax $$ for all of us to run LE in circles, use LE as private security and lie to everyone.
Caylee's heart is breaking as she looks down at what her "family" is doing to her memory.

Actually, come to think of it, maybe Caylee's tragic fate could eventually have something good come out it --- more oversight of charitable organizations; less opportunities to scam the public using children as 'bait'; more children helped with donations not being diverted for questionable purposes, such as paying NeJame to represent grandparents of missing children. The list goes on, but begins with oversight, monitoring/auditing donations and expenditures.

Almost forgot: could possibly lead to convincing 'news' agencies that enriching suspects and their families may cause backlash from consumers.

TES allows one to target a donation for a specific cause. Maybe one day that will be a requirement of all tax exempt entities.

My opinion above, fact below.

.

I think it is obvious the grandparents need to go to a psychiatrist for guidance. I mean that in a helpful way. Because something real bad is going to happen if they keep going outside and talking and arguing with people.

  • #120
I realize this sounds horrible, but George said, he is worried about other missing kids not getting enough attention. Okay, as a parent of a non missing child I agree with him. But if my kid were missing, would anyone elses kid matter to me? I know that sounds incredibly selfish, but I just cant imagine where anything else would matter to me. Food, bills, work, your kid, nothing else would matter.

I agree. Seems like he's trying to deflect attention.....
