For me, it doesn't matter if they threw cotton balls at the house. They shouldn't be throwing AYTHING at the A's house, period.

Oh I agree about that-I just didn't clarify it well. With the media reporting it 5 different ways, my point was more along the lines of--why should we believe the Anthony's that actual rocks were thrown against the door when LE said coins. The Anthony's lie through their teeth about EVERYTHING--- so with a lot of posters believing Casey is innocent until she's in court, I figured the protesters should be considered innocent too. So while I don't agree with some of the protesters tactics I do believe there are better ways to go about things.

If GA cracks, it is because of Casey. This entire situation is due to Casey. Put the blame where it belongs. The media, the protesters, the public, nor the police have brought this on their family. Their daughter did and she can end it at any time. :furious:

I will not for one second believe that you would sit home, shop on ebay, play video games and play with protesters. Come on!! I agree everyone's experience is different. But I can assure you that you wouldnt handle the situation the way the A's are. There are a ton of ways I would respect and understand, I just havent seen any in a very long time.
Remember JonBenet's mom, look how recked she was. That I get understand and respect. Beth Twitty, totally get her understand and respect. Name one thing the As have done to earn my respect and understanding after the 1st time KC was released from jail.. Please... I really would like to feel something other than contempt for these people, they are living through hell.

Let's face it, this case has turned into a circus fueled by the obsession of the media.

Nothing really new is happening, now they are just focusing on the fights between the ANthonys and the protestors - this is ridiculous - it's not helping find anybody.

They need to move on to other cases, and let the coverage on this die down, enough is enough.

Since GA is ex LE, I can undertand how the raucous actions of these protesters would make his law-abiding blood boil. His concern for the safety and well being of his neighbours and even for the protesters themselves is quite touching. Obviously, he needs tips sent to his mobile so that he, personally, can see justice done. Good man!

I have absolutely no sympathy for the Anthony's... They turned this into the circus that it is, not the media, not LE, not the Padillas, not even the protesters!
I have followed many missing persons cases and in particular children as I am sure most of us here have, but when have you ever seen in any case:
Mother - lies, no emotion, uncooperative, arrogant, feels she is above the law.
GM - lies, no emotion, condescending, no appreciation, always on the attack, judgemental of all except Casey, exploited GD for $$, NEVER searched or even supported searchers or said thank you to anyone.
GF - lies, only emotion is rages, arrogant, always on the attack, violent, no appreciation, never a thank you, exploited GD for $$.
LA - control freak, violent, agressive even when told by LE he is wrong, no emotion.
Yes the Anthony's want our support as long as that support is according to their rules.
Yes the Anthony's want our $$ but have not spent one dime of the dollars on "searching for Caylee.
Yes the Anthony's even want our $$ to pay for Casey's defense even though they are already taking tax $$ for all of us to run LE in circles, use LE as private security and lie to everyone.
Caylee's heart is breaking as she looks down at what her "family" is doing to her memory.

I have no doubt that George is close to a breakdown. What George, Cindy, Lee, and Casey can't seem to grasp is that the reason for the media attention and public outcry in THIS case as opposed to other cases of missing children is directly related to the bizarre behavior displayed by the Anthony family.

This case is not like any other case of a missing child. We don't have a family grieving for the missing child or pleading for her safe return. We have instead a very angry family who initially courted the media and then became hostile to both the media and the public when LE came forth with evidence that the missing child, Caylee, is deceased.

I don't believe that George, Cindy, and Lee are in denial about what happened to Caylee. I think they know she's deceased and they know their daughter, Casey, is responsible for her death. At this point, they're in damage control, trying to save their daughter from the consequences of her actions..........just like they've probably been doing all her life.

But, even though George and Cindy feel self-righteous in their actions, they've failed miserably in realizing that they're only alienating the public.

As ex-LE, it must be killing him that he can't question the primary witness in this case because her attorney objects.

The tension in that house must be so thick you can see it.

dcorrigano, I understand what you're saying but I don't think he's wanting attention taken from Caylee -- he thanked the media for keeping her case front-center. But fact is other children are missing and they're barely mentioned after the first couple of weeks or so. I'm sure no family wants their home and lives to be turned into a circus, but the media shouldn't forget about these children - not any of them. His statement about how she's probably changed broke my heart, and it confirmed (for me) that LP is right when he's said GA most likely doesn't know anything about what really happened.

In this situation, it is NOT that the media have "forgotten" about other missing children. Let's face it folks, there are hundreds of thousands of "missing". and EVERY single one cannot in all reality BE covered to THIS extent. And I do not consider that it IS the FACT that the child is missing that has been the "focus" of the coverage, I think it is the facts surrounding this case, the behavior of the family, the depth of the lies and cover-ups potentially involved, the participation of some "BIG GUNS" like Leonard P. and Tim M, the fact that the child missing is not the ONLY crime that has been committed, the fact that there are protesters and law suits and the GRANDPARENTS of the missing have hired a HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL ATTORNEY etc, etc. You do not SEE this in EVERY case, and unfortunately what MAKES news NEWS is the fact that it grabs the public attention...I think the media are doing what they do-covering the news that we all WANT to see them cover, and it has been hard on them as well I am certain...

For instance, think about Natalie Holloway's mom and dad...They ALSO kept the media attention, but by going to great lengths and measures to keep pressure up to find their daughter and ALSO involving Tim M.'s group, which DOES effectively put it in the "public eye"...

I don't remember hearing that one. Was she saying that if Casey told her what she did with Caylee that Cindy wouldn't tell LE?

I took it they same way as you. Cindy seemed to be defending that decision.
