are there searches currently going on at SI? I have read several posts that indicate this.
Yes, and it could be they might still be looking at Kaine's brother. We never got confirmation that he was not in Portland that day. Why if she had called him it would have only taken say 3 1/2 hours for him to show up . Timing isn't right tho, although Kaine said he got home around 1:30 and she was there. Didn't LE say she returned home at 1PM? She could also have left Kyron's body somewhere for the brother to dispose of.Well, if they say "yes" then wouldn't that point to the possibility of it being an abduction by an SO and point away from Terri as the suspect? If they say "no" then it points away from the SO theory and may point to Terri. So I think they're just being careful about what they say so that people won't think they are either suspecting or not suspecting Terri, right?
Just checking to see if anyone knows of any person at all searching for Kyron. Baffling that no one is searching....

The massive effort to find Kyron Horman was called off last month, but since then, Multnomah County crews have been spotted near the Horman family's home and around Sauvie Island.

Does anyone know what the pink ribbon tied to the tree in the above video is for? Is it to mark areas that have been searched?

That appears to be what the ribbons are for.
Bumping this crucial thread.
Anyone know what is happening on this front?
Here's another peculiar exchange from that Staton interview:
Jung: "And is there anything in terms of Kaine's decision to get divorced from Terri Horman the statement that was released suggested that there was information revealed by investigators that lead to that breakup. Is there anything you can tell me about if they had met with Kaine to brief him about the investigation and is there anything that you know of that led to that?"
Staton: "That I can't comment on. I I don't believe there's anything indication that would lead me to believe that, but I can't comment on that."
BBM.
Huh? I thought Kaine specifically wrote in the RO that LE provided him with information ("probable cause," he said)--both as to the MFH plot and Kyron's disappearance. That's clearly what Jung is referring to. I get Staton's no comments, but "I don't believe there's anything (sic) indication that would lead me to believe that" is a comment, and it seems to contradict what we read in the RO. I'm hopelessly lost now. :banghead:
JMO. BTW, this seems to be OT; I'm wondering if there is another thread that is discussing this in-depth Staton interview? If so, which? And if not, should someone start one?
