All Things Britney Spears Part 1

I have never weighed in on this thread, cause Brit is kinda like macaroni and cheese to me---blah. Here's what I think. . . .

After seeing that performance last night, I'm gonna head to Vegas. Me and my almost 40 yr old body is gonna go out and find a go-go suit, some stilletos and a Xanax, then I'm going to hit the stage. All you have to do is walk around and either fall on some guys or let some guys fall on you. I'm there.

OK, back to serious now. . . .

Brit's always done the lip synch thing. She just didn't do it last night with a lot of flair or oomph.

She walked, but she didn't strut. She swayed, but she didn't dance. IMHO, she looked scared to death. Between the heels and worrying that she was going to fall, and the weave and hoping it would stay put, I can't say I blame her.

I had two kids within twenty months. I would have killed to have a body like that after birthing two kiddos. So she isn't a stick figure like most of the fashionistas are today---GOOD. It's better for my morale and the morale of my daughters to see women who look normal--curves and all.

The most poignant moment for me was when she was done. The look of sheer relief on her face was the most painful thing of all.

And Sara Silverman? I think she's just an ugly hearted human being. I'm glad she got no response to her venom.

x17 is reporting that Brit found out about what Sarah Silverman was going to say right before she went on stage. There was a huge blowout backstage and Brit was threatening to pull out.

If true, very sad. Not that I'm a Brit supporter, but hasn't she been thru enough? Was it really necessary to kick her when she's down?

I thought Sarah's comments were in such poor taste. I found nothing funny about them and most of the audience seemed to agree. Very few people laughed and there were long pauses of silence in between some of her remarks.

I'm not a fan of this site, but the Britney coverage is pretty extensive here. (Link is to Perez Hilton's Britney Spears catagory.) They are saying that Britney can't have learned what Sarah Silverman was saying ahead of time! If you scroll down a bit, you can watch the VMA performance, or could earlier. YouTube might have pulled it by now.

Just watched Brit's performance on YouTube. You know, I kinda feel sorry for her but she's sown what she's reaped. What a terrible performance. She almost fell in her street walker boots several times, her weave was showing and her dance moves was ill rehearsed.

Maybe Brittany should have chosen another song from her CD and dressed a little more appropriately. She's in a custody battle and doesn't seem to be able to make good decisions. I agree with whoever said she may end up like Elvis.

Ok, I'm so tried of Britney but hey, I decided to add my comments anyways since I just saw the video and everyone is talking about it:boohoo: I think she looks great.. I don't care for her music but I think she is a GREAT performer. I never really cared for her from day one. I always thought she tried too hard. However, everyone has an off day every now and then, and I believe this was hers. Doesn't mean she can't make a great comeback because she has showed us in the past that she can perform. Maybe this isn't the time. :twocents:

Her reps would say aything, Silvermans comments had nothing to do with why Brits couldnt perform.

Her performance sucked because she is out of condition, was out till all the hours the night before and had probably had one too many lines before hitting the stage.

Brits is Anna Nicole waiting to happen, or in the making..take your pick.
She wont get it together because she isnt smart enough, she has no hope either, surrounded by all her yes people, remember they are telling her everything is cool- you look great! your'e Britney Spears godammit!-

Let me just say that's what "WE" should do to people who flash their genitals in public. Ever heard of public indecency? It's all over the internet (AGAIN) with her flashing her shaved vagina that night. Glad you're so into it
