All Things Britney Spears Part 1

He is 8 months old his head wasn't snapping back.

actually if you look at the first picture it had to have been after the stumble..
She holds him tight and has her knee under him to lean on if she doens't gain her balance.

Also she is pregnant which doesn't do much for balance.
Come on? I am sure everyone of us has tripped before.

Highheels? those are maybe platforms and not high ones.
This is a girl who dances with stilletos.

The long pants?? I am not sure how many of you are my age but I know my own mother wore the HUGE 60/70 bell bottoms probably with platforms and if your mom did not then possibly you yourself did ?

I want to meet the mom who ALWAYS used two arms to carry her baby??
I use to vaccuum with one arm and hold Richie in the other while pregnant with Tony. Ever make a bottle while holding a baby??
I carried one toddler on each hip for what seems like forever till they were like 3 and 4. I never considered that while dressing. Because after the first few new mom months you become more secure and more use to carrying a not so new born around.
This was an accident. The only other bad thing she did was carry him on her lap while driving and there is no exuse for that.
That is one thing.

I hope none of us is judged as new mothers by ONE mistake or tripping.

I'm sorry, but Britanny is 24 years old and a grown woman. She shouldn't be walking with the baby and carrying a glass with high heels or any other shoes on especially with the confusion and distraction of the press being around. Both hands should be on the baby especially after him suffering a fractured skull. He's not a toddler sitting on her hip safely and knowing how to hang on. His hat falling off is a sign of how hard he fell back. However, I don't think that she is necessarily a bad mom or needing CPS called on her. Maybe Brittany needs a real husband to help her and some privacy away from the media and not worry about her image as a pop star while caring for the kids.

The fractured skull was not her fault.

I do agree that the media needs to leave her alone. It really doesn't seem like she is too worried about her image and is really trying to take care of her child. They just won't leave her alone!

jesus you would think she was walking the streets hittin a crack pipe and swillin vodka straight out of the bottle while letting her baby play in a pile of splintered glass and used needles.

Tell me about it. It has turned into a regular BritBash. I agree driving with SeanP. in her lap was boneheaded. It is really unfortunate that the paps won't leave her alone and every aspect is recorded. How in the heck does she pee without them being there? I am sure she would be doing that wrong too.

And this is coming from someone who is not even a Brit fan.

JMHO

LOL Why would a person use a stroller to go from a hotel to their car on a packed street surrounded by paparazzi?

I dont even think I have ever seen Britney Spears perform . I just have daughters her age that have babies and I cringe at the thought of the world sitting around tearing them apart over lame stuff.
every time you all bash her you bash every mother that has fumbled. And truth be known we have all fumbled...more then once.

tybee I agree 110% with your post...

Agreed.

i do have a query: i wonder - not that i think this played any part in the incident - why anyone would need to carry a drink (seemingly of water) from hotel to their car? :waitasec:

such a short trip.

Well if she has to carry a child and a drink she needs some help. IMO. I know it was not far, but with the problems she has had, could it hurt? Although I understand with all the paparazzi being there, you could have a point. Just trying to use my own common sense, which isn't always up to par. LOL:doh:

I admit with regret that I jumped in with bashing her after the photo of her stumbling with him. I agree with those of you who have said that the only real, absolute no-no was her driving with him in her lap.

The nanny was the one who dropped him; the rear-facing vs. forward facing car-seat doesn't seem to be a concrete law; the convertible probably wasn't the safest or smartest thing but she wasn't on a busy freeway either, didn't it say it was her neighborhood so she probably wasn't going very fast; as far as the possibility of him getting sunburned, yeah it happens quicker for babies than adults but she could've been in the car 10 minutes, maybe just trying to get him to fall asleep. I can't count the number of people that have used that guaranteed nap inducer.

Anyone can stumble and she doesn't have to wear sneakers just because she has a baby. Parenthood can be hard for anyone but knowing the world is watching and judging your every move, for anything to blow out of proportion, I can't imagine such stress.

So on the slim chance that you're reading this Britney, I apologize for being so overly critical. Dump KFed and get rid of his negative energy and focus on making your kids and your life better.

ETA: IMO, she still says/does other incredibly immature stuff, my opinion of that stuff hasn't changed. (Like that picture on her website, giving the finger.)

I agree K Fed is like a pain in the arse. Just makes her look worse. He is so using her. Lose the Loser!:snooty:

Before KFed, I knew stuff about her and thought she and Justin were cute together but I didn't have a negative opinion of her, just indifferent I guess. He brought her down IMO. Maybe she would've wound up being this way anyway, but I don't think so.

There is the thought that if she hadn't chosen Federslime, it would have been another slime, i suppose.

Who knows? She seemed desperate to get married. Or at least thats what I thought. I wish her luck. She is gonna need it!:waitasec:

IMO, I honestly think she started acting this way after she and Justin broke up. It's like she wanted to show him and the world that she was "so over him". She was what, 21/22 and she started out acting like a lot of young people - dating around, drinking, partying, rebelling, wanting to be a grown up, etc. I remember her messing with Collin Farrell and Fred Durst (?), guys that seemed to wild and fast for her, IMO. Then there was the Las Vegas "joke gone too far" quickie wedding.

Then she managed to get ahold of KFed and maybe since he was a nobody, that she liked the idea of settling down somewhat. But she could've easily found a nice stockbroker, or lawyer, or cameraman too. I can't fathom what she saw in a guy with one kid and another on the way, flat broke, who would just dump them to follow her around. (Not that the kids themselves were the negative). I know what he $aw in her. I wonder why she jumped into such crap, after that Vegas wedding was annuled. What was wrong with that guy anyway? He's seemed okay, better than KFed anyway.

LOL I had 5 babies. I have carried a child while I drank, ate, brushed my teeth, pee'd, cooked and about everything else. My kids have had stitchs, casts, bumps, bruises and I think I had poisen control on speed dial. They have shaved the dog, dyed the cat green, swallowed about anything that would fit down a kids throat or inserted anything that would fit up a kids nose. I forgot one at daycare, sent a $100 for lunch money instead of a $1.00 bill and once took them to school in my nightgown and got a flat tire infront of the school.
I feed my grandaughter sugar, spoil her rotten and we eat jelly beans and drink chocolate milk in bed while watching really crappy cartoons. Once a week we piant our nails different colors (and i mean 10 different colors) put butterfly tattoos on our faces, dance to Billy Idols "White Wedding, and OMG even go out in public.

And thats just scratching the surface.

I have 5 well adjusted adult children that love their families, their parents and when looking back on their childhoods do so with happiness and humor.
