I don't think I've heard of a celebrity banned from a bar! lol

That pic of her reminded me of this from Clockwork Orange:

LOL--My husband wants to see that movie (we've never seen it). Think I will buy it for him for Christmas. Thanks for reminding me, Taximom! :)

From what I remember, make sure there aren't any minors around! It scared me. But I scare easily. And it was kind of sick. IMO and from what I remember from many years ago!! :blushing:

During Halloween time, Bravo TV was showing The 100 Scariest Movie Moments. That was where we saw a scene (a very disturbing scene) from A Clockwork Orange. Don't worry, we have no kids!! We really like scary movies. :)

I watched it late one night by myself and remember huddling under my blanket. I still can see some of the scenes in my head. You are right, it was disturbing. Although now I have probably read about that kind of stuff here at WS daily, so maybe it wouldn't freak me out anymore! :D

she kinda resembles Michael or LaToya J. in that pic ya'll

Well, from what I was told teenagers have contests where they actually run over people for sport in the book. There is a lot of wanton violence in the book, and the movie. They both glorify Anarchy. It's obscenely violent, in fact. (I linked to that video because the song is calling out Hollywood hypocrisy, in that a woman's breast is considered taboo, yet they show so much blood, gore, and violence. The violence seen in movies today *IS* obscene, by definition.)

The advice I got for A Clockwork Orange was to read the book first, *THEN* consider if you want to see a movie based on it. I haven't yet read the book, the synopsis Mom gave all those years ago (see the bit I remember above) caused me to turn away from it. I won't watch the movie either. Odd though, I've read Bram Stoker's Dracula, and seen the movie Bram Stoker's Dracula. (Though I turned away at the gory scenes in it.) I think I read/watched Dracula because it had a story to tell, and wasn't just chaos.

KatK, I never knew there was a book! I wouldn't read it though. It was hard enough sitting through the movie.

lol, i had never seen the mObscene video before (thanks, i like MM)....i love the movie Bram Stoker's Dracula..i think it's the best Dracula movie, by far...(Gary Oldman is one of my favorite actors, though)...

back on topic though...i heard on some show the other night that BS denies being pregnant...

Just couldn't let the Britt thread go one day without a post. Where she at? What's she doing today? It's sad I find comfort in people's lives that are more messed up than mine. Poor girl.

You can read up on what Perez Hilton has been covering lately here.

O/T. Do you remember the one that was #one? I bet the shower scene from Psycho was way up there.

KatK I will never get off that site. I LOVE that Perez Hilton site. Plus it will show me just how bad Amy Winehouse is doing. My heart breaks for Amy.

Yeah, her parents need to stage an intervention with her, STAT!

Kat, did you see where the mom WROTE A LETTER? Wrote a letter to this stick thin, probably heroin addicted girl. Yeah that'll work. I think the hubby is in jail too so now would be a perfect time to get her some help. Oh and Pete Doherty is helping her. Yeah, that'll work. Two talented people too. It's a shame. I wish I could go help her. I'd chain her to the toilet tank till she got in her right mind, and then get her in rehab. They think Britt got problems.
