The 911 call was a 5150.
I still wonder what happened to her little boy with her.

I'm sorry, people, but I almost not able to care about what happens to Britney Spears any longer. She is, IMO, definitely a 5150, severely mentally ill, and because of her money, probably won't get the help she needs or take the meds she will need if she is BPD.
What I do care about are her little boys. They've probably never known a normal day in their entire lives!!!
That breaks my heart.

I was just going to post the same thing. Hopefully, now, she will be forced to get the help she so desperately needs.

To clarify something someone posted earlier - her visits were monitored. The court appointed monitor had taken Sean out to the car and when she came back in, Britney had locked herself and Jayden in a room and wouldn't let anyone in.

I don't think she was "on something." Surely the court appointed monitor would have notified someone if Britney had taken or was taking something. I think she has some sort of mental illness and it's getting worse. I do think she's a danger to herself and others.

IMO, she's way past being an addict. I think the drugging and drinking started when she became unable to cope emotionally otherwise.
IOW, the root cause is a severe mental illness. I agree with reports that say she may be Bi-Polar.
She has all of the classic manic behaviors followed by the depressive episodes. Add at least some known self- mutilation in there and I see someone in desperate need of lifelong psychiatric care. Bi-Polar illness doesn't go away without lifelong meds and close monitoring.

Yep! Classic addict behavior- push away those that try to help you and surround yourself with people that will buy into your b.s.

Nothing's more frustrating for friends and loved ones of an addict to try to reason with them...it's futile until the addict decides they want help.

Nothing happened to her little boy. He was released and is fine. It was stated that he had a few bruises and they checked him out, but it was determined that Britney didn't cause the bruises (per numerous sites and the radio I have on). He's only 16 months - my kids used to fall and get bruised at that age too.

Thanks. It never has been reported why he was taken to the hospital in the first place, and I was worried that she hurt him somehow.

I just thought of something reading through some other threads here this morning. . . .

The next time I see a thread that says "abducted by non custodial mother/father" I'm going to make myself think back to this mess. When you see "mother/father" you don't always think of danger. . . not always anyway. This is really helping me change my individual train of thought.

He was the one locked up with her in the bathroom. I think they just wanted to make sure he was okay - especially after seeing the little bruises on him.

.....Bi-Polar illness doesn't go away.....

Neither does the disease of addiction. She will need lifelong treatment for both if she is to stand a chance. Fortunately, every reputable treatment center has dual track (psych and addiction) programs to help - if such help is wanted.

I think so too. There was a report that Federline's atty arrived at the house and I'll bet he said he wanted Jayden to be checked out, which is smart, imo.

anticipating stripping her of all rights.

She is now on 72 hour lockdown for evaluation. Very mentally unstable, possibly suicidal. Multiple personality disorder now being discussed. They are saying it's not addiction but extreme mental instability.

They also just stated that earlier reports were wrong and neither of her children were taken to the hospital for evaluation.

???

It does always interest me these days when I hear she has been using because she is being randomly tested for alochol and drugs by the Courts. That's hard to beat, though I'm not naive enough to think that someone with her resources couldn't find clean urine if she really wanted to.

I do believe - and have for some time - that mental illness is at play in Britney's case.

I have a dear friend who is diagnosed with MPD. It took her years to intergrate, but she lives a normal stable productive life now - married, raising three sons, running a household and her own business.

However, for many years, she was in and out of psych wards constantly and her body is still covered with the scars of her cutting herself and/or attempting suicide. There is recovery from mental illness, but it is a long road home!

I am having a hard time believing ''mental illness'' here. I see it more as Britney feels and thinks she can do whatever she wants and she don't and won't listen to anyone. The rules don't apply to her... in her mind. Life is a big party for her she don't want to take responsibility for anything. She is not a child anymore but still don't know how to act like 26 year old adult mother of two that she is. I'll pray for her. She needs a good disciplinarian to come into her life and set her on the right path... :(

After the court hearing live from TMZ:

Kaplan assistant says that he feels that at this time he feels that it is not appropriate to speak to the media. They will not be doing any press today.

Won't address any issues today but appreciates the press being there.

Did confirm Mark Kaplan was at the hospital last night.

Mark has to do what he has to do.

I think her problems have biological roots and that the drug use (to self medicate?) has exacerbated the problem. I think she has no control over her actions.

I agree completely. I was happy to read her Dad rushed to the hospital to be with her. Any word on her mother or brother Brian visiting her?

I usually just pop in here, but the more I read and the more I see of Brit, I think she is suffering from a mental illness/total emotional breakdown/identity crisis/withdrawal/self-medicating. As someone else mentioned, she is supposedly getting tested randomly for drugs and those results haven't been plastered all over - just speculation. I would doubt that the speculation is true because Brit was still allowed contact with her boys.

Brit may have started out as a spoiled brat, etc. and her parents and others are enablers, but her world is crashing down around her and she needs help. Hopefully she can now receive the proper care instead of people coddling her and giving in to her every whim. No matter if she is a celebrity or not, she is a human being and it is sad to watch anyone suffer.

Another poster commented that it was funny to watch this and the downfall of celebrities, I find it extremely upsetting when anyone seems to be having a break from reality and especially when children are involved, it's not funny when it is Brit nor is it funny if it happens to be the next door neighbor. It's just plain sad.

I keep wondering if these kids have any hope or chance of any semblance of a normal life. Being celebrity kids and constantly in the spotlight is one thing, but to have your parents and even extended family so dysfunctional just adds to the problem.

I really know nothing of Spears or Federline, other than K-Fed was on an episode of CSI briefly last year. I don't listen to their music or anything like that. But when I read stuff like this in the papers or online, I mainly feel sorry for the kids. The parents, too, to some extent, but the kids are the real victims here, in my opinion. Their lives are just beginning, and everything looks so bleak for them.
