Another Day, More Drama for Britney Spears

Just hours after Britney Spears's camp announced that she was seeking psychological treatment, the pop star was in the midst of yet another public breakdown.

The trouble began Monday evening, when Spears and her confidante Sam Lutfi went for a short drive around Beverly Hills. When they returned to her Summit home at around 6 p.m., the visibly distraught singer – who appeared to be arguing with Lutfi – jumped out of the white Mercedes near the guard gate.

The girl is a hormonal mess. I don't believe she's in any condition to realize much of anything. Most women would do anything for her children. If Britney cannot bring herself to seek treatment for them, she dang sure isn't going to do it for herself. Unless and until someone can convince her that the world isn't going to judge her for having emotional problems, I believe she'll just keep pretending everything is fine. As most of us here know, trying to convince most people that emotional problems aren't something to be ashamed of isn't easy. Most people are too judgmental and like to pretend that it can't happen to them.

Very well said. I think you hit the nail on the head. I'm sure to some degree she's ashamed, maybe even embarrassed but very much in denial.

Yes you are absolutely right! She is the only one though that has to seek help. Soooo much help has been offered to her and she refuses it. Even at the sake of her children she refuses it. I guess she is in denial because she is very VERY aware that she has a problem..

It's hard to respond to your post Ember, because I don't know what's going on in KFed's head... There seem to be a lot of things in your post based on assumptions and they could very well be wrong assumptions. I don't understand why people get angry when a father steps up to the plate for his kids when their mom goes psychotic. No matter what is in his past. Was he supposed to cart them off to an orphanage just so people wouldn't think he was doing it for the money? I don't get it.

We'll just have to agree to disagree because who really knows! :blowkiss: and I don't want to pick with you because I enjoy your posts and respect your opinion. I just wish he'd do more to get her help.

Maybe if he acted like they could become a family again....make her feel secure so that she can be persuaded to get the help she needs?
I dunno, but you don't just give up on people.
It just seems like he should be doing more to help get her treatment.
I know they're not a couple anymore, but he is tied to her for the rest of his life through those children.
I know no one can force her, but mental illness is nothing to take lightly and they sure aren't helping her by continuing to stress her out.
I saw the tape of her going to one of the hearings.
She was a nervous wreck and scared to death.
I've been through a custody fight...they are scary and nerve racking and I don't have a MI.
We can't rationalize what she's thinking because we are not mentally ill....but geesh! You'd think KFed would quit poking at her and give her a chance to heal...become better.
I just don't think he's doing enough.
As I said before, the best way that a father can show their kids they love them is by being good to thier mother.
Those kids need both of their parents.
Getting her well should be his first priority after seeing to his children's safety. IMO, he's only perpetuating her troubles.

Awww thank you. :blowkiss: I believe it's okay to disagree with people though... jut don't be rude (anyone, not you).... lol. I think we don't even really disagree that much at all, btw. I just really don't get why people are so angry at KFed, lol. Not just you either, I quoted you because you were the last one to say something like that when I ventured in here again, lol. All the other stuff, I don't know what to think or say about it anymore. I was hoping to see Britney get herself together, but after a few good chances she had at that lately and she didn't, I kind of quit caring. I still hopes she gets herself together, but I'll hear about that if and when it happens (or not). There's nothing I can do for her anyway, and I have enough drama going on IRL, lol.

This whole situation is very sad. I remember when the press was dogging
Britney for staying with K-Fed. At the time she was the stay at home mom
and you hardly every saw pictures of her. All you heard was that K-Fed was
a leech and she needed to dump him He was photoed out partying everynight
while Britney was at home. Now he is the golden boy. How sad that this is such a media event. I honestly believe that if K-fed had stayed home with Brit and tried to be a family we would not be seeing the thing we are now. He used her as well as most people in her life has. She is very inmature and
an emotional wreck and is bring allot of her problems on herself. But I cannot blame everything on her. She needs help and if someone does not get through to her I am afraid she will be the next star to die early. How sad.

Steady job or not he was a stay at home dad when they were together. Many stay at home moms get enough support for their children and them selves to continue that life style when wealth people divorce. Why should he be any different?

OMGosh...I don't understand that either. She just doesn't have the judgement abilities of a 10 year old anymore. It is all very sad. I used to love her!!!! Especially when she was in her teen years. I hope she comes back from the land of wack because I miss seeing her fomer cute self.

I never once stated that a non custodial parent should NOT pay child support - HOWEVER - I also do NOT believe that "child" support should be used to keep KFED in the lifestyle he was in when he was MARRIED to Brit. And that goes for everyday people. He laid down and created those children so he should damn well be out there busting his to support them too. Not fighting her tooth and nail to "gimme gimme more"

Has anyone listened to the lyrics of that song? It fits her situation beautifully if you really "dissect" the words.

Again, where are his other children? When him and brit first got together, she bent over BACKWARDS for those kids, and now they're "Poof" gone, oblivion? He was a friggin backup dancer - he wasn't used to wining and dining w/ the stars, driving ferrari's etc. But now that he got a taste of it SHE is supposed to be responsible for keeping that lifestyle? BS! The children are not old enough to know what a ferrari is, or whether or not they have a multi million dollar house.

Great role model - go slurp all over herpehilton and then come home and kiss those boys w/ that same mouth? (New Years Eve, Vegas if anyone doesn't recall) Shouldn't that be child endangerment?

As I stated before, was it all his doing that she "fell from the top" No, But He sure as hell contributed to what's going on. And CONTINUES to do so. It was ok for him to record her for their reality show, talking about sex, and being drunk, but now suddenly that same behavior and she's a high risk to her kids? BS he's a media who will do anything for attention....as we've seen. C'mon, every time something happens in court his attorney has to release a statement about how messed up she is. How is THAT in the best interest of his children. How soon until we see him shacked up w/ another starlet who has money - then we'll have 4 kids out of the limelight while he creates yet another family.

Any other man that we read about who has 4 kids by mulitiple mommy's who doesn't contribute financially, most would be saying he's scum, he's a lowlife, a dork, whatever, what does KFED do to support his kids? When do you see ONE ON ONE time w/ just him and his kids W/O a team of nannies, bodyguards and media personel around? Who's paying for those? Why does he need nannines (Bodyguards I can understand, even if *I* think he's a loser, those are still brit's kids, and I do believe they should have security when they are out) BUT the nannies? All day everyday? For what? He's such a great daddy he should be able to do it on his own w/ sitters for "time off"

I agree Brit has some issues, but I also think that there are some people (Society) that love to see people fail and their waiting on pins and needles for her to "screw it up" w/ no possibility of returning. Sad..sad..situation.
