Your other half is very lucky he didn't have me for a mom!! That would'nt go over very well at my house.

She has severe mental issues herself plus gambling and substance abuse problems, and didn't want him to leave the house least she be left alone with his father.

There is a very good reason why there was a move away from institutionalization, not just for people who experience mental illness but for all people with disabilities who used to be routinely institutionalized. Anyone remember "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"? I agree that tossing people onto the street is not the right solution, but neither is going back to institutionalization. As a person who experienced institional living for 8 years as a child (as a result of physical disability) and as a student of disability studies, I speak from experience. Proper community supports for people who experience disability and their families is what is needed and this is where resources should be allocated - not in warehousing human beings - IMO.
I'm so sorry you suffered as an innocent child. Just a generation ago children were put in a slot and left to fend for themselves. As a retired special education teacher children do have more rights today and are getting help but they need more help . Parents need more assistance when they have a truly disabled child and a child with disabilities needs help to function in the school and community. I agree that disabled children should not be cruelly tucked awayin an institutuon. I think it is great that you are interested in special education because you will have compassion for your students.

(snips)

We went to Area in LA on Saturday night to celebrate Paris' birthday with her, and who was also there????
None other than Osama Lutfi and Alli Sims.
***
We've called Osama shady about a million times and he was all smiles, trying to be our best friend.
***
Sims also told us that things are also tense between her and Britney's family. Though she denied a rift, she told us that "[Jamie & Lynne] are being very strict right now."
By that she means that she hasn't seen Brit Brit in a while or isn't allowed to see her.
Osama didn't mention Spears once. We think that's a good thing.
***
P.S. Osama's still shady.

Sam Lufti did his hatchet job in this weeks US magazine...as we suspected it would only be a matter of time before he hit the airwaves...wonder how much he was paid? There may have been an element of truth to his words, who knows, but it was juvenile and included yet again another mention of him trying to feed BS handfuls of pills....ugly.

Alli is a part of the problem, IMO. No one ever heard of her until she started hanging out, getting photographed with Britney. Next thing you know she is a wannbe singer trying to get her own reality tv show.

From Jilly's link, Alli says:
And when asked about Lynne Spears' allegations that Sam drugged Britney, she replied, "No comment. It's pretty bogus."
***

How are the allegations bogus if Lufti and his press person admits he did drug Brit?

That Alli Sims is hilarious in the sense that she kept answering "no comment" and then proceeded to comment. I always thought that was Brit's cousin... I guess she is no kin to the Spears then... I guess it is safe to say that she is part of the Lutfi Leech group.

I think they are related by marriage, not blood. It seems like one of Alli's grandparents married one of Britney's grandparents. Alli and Britney were young, but not little kids so they have been "cousins" for quite some time. But don't take that as gospel, I could be wrong.

And I guess she doesn't care about being on the Spears' sh*t list, hanging with Lutfi like they are old pals.

Makes me wonder how much they leeched off Brit. With the attitude Alli has about "the bogus" claims. Then I am thrilled she's on the "list".

Well, maybe now Sam can "manage" Alli in her forthcoming musical career. (Good luck with that).

The music video of Toxic is Britney's most expensive one to date, budgeting $2,000,000[11].

It was directed by Joseph Kahn. It shows Spears as a flight attendant on a concorde-like airliner, who after receiving a phone call, pushes an overweight man into the lavatory and French kisses him. Spears pulls the face of the man off, revealing a handsome man portrayed by model Matt Felker, and steals his wallet and a key. Spears is then shown in Paris, in a black pleather catsuit and with wavy red hair, and is picked up by Tyson Beckford on a Ducati 999. The pair drives to the "Toxic Industries" factory, where she uses the key to steal a toxin and passes through a series of security measures. Spears then scales a building, now in a superhero-style costume and with black hair, and enters the apartment of a former lover, played by actor Martin Henderson. They make out and Spears pours the toxin in his mouth, killing him. After planting a kiss on him, she jumps off the balcony, landing back in the airplane in her original attire, and winks at the camera before returning to her duties as a flight attendant. The video closes as it began, with birds flying behind the aircraft. The video is intercut with sequences of Spears with hundreds of diamonds glued to her body, wearing only a G-string. It took nearly nine hours for makeup artists to glue the diamonds to her body. During filming of the sequence, only director Joseph Kahn was there to shoot; other crew members had to leave the room.

The music video debuted at number one on MTV's Total Request Live.[12] It spent sixty days at the top of the countdown[13] and was retired after ten weeks on the program.[14] The video was nominated in 4 categories at the 2004 MTV Video Music Awards, including Video Of The Decade.

Drugs, alcohol and smoking ruined her voice and then she only had image left. she lost her surety and i think this pushed her over the edge when she fully understood she'd never go down in history as a reliable and memorable singer.

K-Fed Getting Soft

FedEx is extending an olive branch to his estranged ex-wife. While K-Fed is NYC attending fashion shows this weekend, his children are staying with their grandma, Lynn. Showbizspy says Kevin and Lynn get along so well that the white rapper does not mind if she brings the kids to visit Britney. Kevin knows it is important for the popwreck to get some face time with the kids, even if she is currently a little off.

I think he's sick of having the boys around.
