All Things Heath Ledger - Thread No. 2

Michelle broken hearted.

http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=374601

In her first statement since the death of her former companion Heath Ledger, actress Michelle Williams said she is suffering from a broken heart and asked for privacy for her and daughter Matilda

I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father," Williams said in her statement.

"All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day. His family and I watch Matilda as she whispers to trees, hugs animals and takes steps two at a time and we know that he is with us still. She will be brought up with the best memories of him."

God Bless Her.

I can relate with her seeing Heath in Matilda. I lost my Dad at 21, oh how I miss him. When my babies came and the reminders in a look, a laugh, some silly antic, I was blown away. Part of him LIVES, I got some back. It's sooooo comforting.

Rest In Peace Heath.

Sorry to hear that you lost your dad young CarpeDiem but Im pleased you still see him in your children.
Matilda is the image of her father so Michelle must be comforted when she looks at her child.

It's all going to be OK dingo. :blowkiss: And death won't win, it's NOT the end.

Cricket is a game which we are pretty good at apparently:)

Ohh, I thought perhaps she was an Aussie star of some kind. I have heard of the game cricket. Isn't it like our football? Or soccer? :waitasec: Is there a big cricket game happening, like our Super Bowl on Sunday?

Man, between your comment and Michelle's I'm all teary-eyed thinking of my dad. I feel sorry for Matilda though. At least I got to know my dad for about 22 years. She probably won't remember much of him. :(

It more like baseball: Cricket is a bat-and-ball sport contested by two teams, usually of eleven players each.[1] A cricket match is played on a grass field, roughly oval in shape, in the centre of which is a flat strip of ground 22 yards (20.12 m) long, called a cricket pitch. A wicket, usually made of wood, is placed at each end of the pitch.
The bowler, a player from the fielding team, bowls a hard, fist-sized cricket ball from the vicinity of one wicket towards the other. The ball usually bounces once before reaching the batsman, a player from the opposing team. In defence of the wicket, the batsman plays the ball with a wooden cricket bat. Meanwhile, the other members of the bowler's team stand in various positions around the field as fielders, players who retrieve the ball in an effort to stop the batsman scoring runs, and if possible to get him or her out. The batsman — if he or she does not get out — may run between the wickets, exchanging ends with a second batsman (the "non-striker"), who has been waiting near the bowler's wicket. Each completed exchange of ends scores one run. Runs are also scored if the batsman hits the ball to the boundary of the playing area. The match is won by the team that scores more runs.

I lost my father at age 4 1/2 in a car accident. Although my mother chose to take me to the funeral, I do not remember a thing, never have, and I am 40+ (:boohoo: :waitasec: )

I agree about Michelle. She seems very classy, and I feel sorry for her right now. I'm glad Heath left a part of himself behind in Matilda. I always felt the same way about my own father, who I don't remember. :(

Taximom...give thanks for the years you had. I think I see my dad in my children, but I can't be sure :(

Dingo, Taximom and only4justice, that's another promise we have, our seed and blood line carries on. You do see your fathers in your babies.

My husband was killed in an auto accident 11 days short of our Haylee turning four years old. I know one day we'll all be reunited forever and all time will be replaced with joy filled fellowship forever.

Caperdiem, your a jewel.

Hoaxer traced to Britan.

http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=372131

A hoax caller who reportedly tried to swindle cash out of Hollywood stars by posing as Australian actor Heath Ledger's grieving father has been traced to the United Kingdom.
Reports in the UK say New York Police have traced the con-artist to the seaside town of Scarborough in north-eastern England.
The conman phoned Tom Cruise asking for emotional support and tried to convince John Travolta to pay for his airfare from Australia to the United States, earlier reports said.
The man began pulling the stunt just hours after 28-year-old Ledger died in his Manhattan apartment and also contacted Mel Gibson, Halle Berry and Christian Bale.

Hi Kool..long time no see:blowkiss:

What a pathetic loser...glad they caught him.I hope no-one gave him anything.I wonder how he got their phone numbers. He must have really done a number to get that far.Sad,really sad.

Matilda really is the "spitting image" of her Dad. What a little doll! Too bad Heath's family lives so far away from her but I'm sure Michelle will do the best she can to make sure they see one another as much as possible.
