BUSS THE HIST BRINGS THE guest back on and gives him the floor

joe calls the feeh report a farce

the media bought into it

but they created a video at famingjoepaterno that explains it all

if there was a cover up why was mike mcqueary allowed to testify b4 the grand jury

why didnt joe prevent MM from testifying

the host lets him go on but then comes back and asks if paterno could have prevented MM from testifying

joe changes the subjest

joe then goes frentic with all kinds of blather, none of which makes real sense...

but thats my opinion

joe says "its illegal" to be involved ..as if joe wouldnt do anything illegal

there is some bacvk and forth but the guest is ballistic at 1000 miles anhour screaming and running on

bottom line, if this guy is defending you, you are in trouble..

hitler youth gone awry

i was a little concerned about this guy and his site b4 i heard him...guy is a fanatic...but host shouts him down

host reads damning email from curly to others and says "what does that mean", he says, it means you are full of crap..goodbye

and that may be that..commercial

Beyond Pacino as JoPa..............imagine the casting for Sandusky, Spanier, Dottie, Mike McQ, Amendola and all? Not forgetting the seriousness of this crime - any ideas on the actors for specific rolls?

How about Philip Seymour Hoffman as Sandusky? I wasn't a big fan of his performance as Art Howe in Moneyball . Howe is a man's man. Hoffman didn't pull if off, IMO. However, he's great at playing characters who are just a bit off. I can think of at least three movies in which he played a character who's sexually in the closet.

I just had a look at Pacino at IMDB, particularly wearing sunglasses in "Two for the money". He'll do.
Alan Rickman as Spanier?

Ed O'Neil as Sandusky - his nose is perfect for Sandusky - might have to have a toupee etc. But I think he can do it. Although Philip Seymour Hoffman is a great call.

I can see Paterno as a complex layered character who needs a commanding presence.

How layered is Jer? Honestly? I love Hoffman although he usually makes me tremendously uncomfortable in his movies. I am not sure playing Jer is worth his time and effort and I am not denigrating the idea believe me. I find Jer a washout. I think any actor with talent is going to make Jer a bigger character than he really is.

JMO.

Now Dotty....Sarge is going to be interesting.

I suppose if I could send a wish off into the universe about a possible movie, I would wish it was less about that core group and more about the investigators, the victims and the DA's office that made this finally happen. Those are the heroes and the stars of the story, imo.

I wonder who will play Ray Gricar? He has to be a footnote at a minimum.

I nominate J.J. for Gricar - he knows A LOT about him. You up for the part J.J.?:woohoo:

There was a private joke circulating around figures in the Gricar case about who will who in the film version. :)

I know that I am not looking forward to the Dramatis Personæ list as being "J. J. in Phila, a blogger." ;) Hopefully a definite footnote.

I know that I'm too short, and my hairline is different. I'm also now ten years younger than when he disappeared. :)

My choice to play me would be John Billingsley. It would be a minor role and I hope that if I'm ever depicted in a film, it would be as someone disabled.

Hoffman's got my vote. Great casting choice, BigCat.

Good choice, but he'd have to wear his hair longer.
