I think this is why the judge always runs late. :bang:

I think it's better this way with CA and GA. Their original answers to LE will be used instead. I feel that it's a win actually. It even more firmly locks them into those answers even for the criminal trial.

I do believe you are right...

Can their refusal to answer those questions now stand and be used in the civil trial as evidence? IMO, the refusal along w/ the LE interviews tell the story anyway.

It would be so awesome if they'd just put DC on the stand NOW to answer the questions....

I know it's a pipe dream...

I think they have enough from them, don't you think?

yes....so to speak......but they always seem to be above the law....

To me it just seems like the bad behavior from GA and CA just continues to be overlooked by the courts. I mean seriously they should have been made to answer the questions and to do so in a proper and professional manner or be held in contempt.

I think they're working a fine line here. IMO, the last thing we want to hear again is how this case will taint the jury pool.

The Judge made her stand there like a kid waiting for the principal, I bet she's ticked!

  • #591
She told him not to go the depo, because she didn't know what they were gonna ask...I wonder if that's an actually point of law?

The Judge has already said that once, when asking the prosecution "are you willing to hold onto the release of answers to prevent tainting" (something like that.. quite condescendingly IMO.) With the sunshine laws the way they are, you would think that would compel speedier trials because "jury tainting" seems inevitable the more it drags on.
