I think the fact that she took the pictures at the time of the injuries show she was concerned then. The pictures of Jr were reported to the authorities at the time. I don't understand why it is so hard to understand that.

I think everyone understand that. But it makes it hard to understand is why put this on natural TV and in new papers. If you want to fight for your children fine do it but some things are meant behind close doors. I have said it before what if this child abuse is false not saying Crystal didnt have good intention in reporting it but think of the damage it will have on everyone. We arent talking just Sarasota or where Crystal lives where talking nation wide.Its just not right IMO.

I hate to say this...and I know I will probably be eaten alive for it, but with the exception of the face shot, the others are just normal kid injuries. IMO.
The busted up face does worry me, but you should have seen my big guy about a week ago; bloody nose, two black eyes, bruise on his cheek and split lip. These things do happen and they aren't always abuse.

I agree. Haleigh's face shot looks bad, but the other pictures just look like
normal bruises. I constantly had bruises growing up, but they were not from being beaten. If there is abuse going on something needs to be done, but I couldn't tell from Jr.'s pictures.

I completely agree...

If Haleigh and her little brother were indeed abused and these pictures show that abuse, I feel bad for both of them, it should have been reported right away!
However, the fact that she waited until such a questionable time to show these pics and make any claim/report of abuse, make us all question the authenticity and sincerity of them.

If Haleigh and Jr were indeed abused, then Jr should be removed, but allowing custody to his mother isn't the route to go, she lost that custody in the first place... two questionable parents here, and all this does is take the spotlight off the main issue here... FINDING HALEIGH!!!!

The attorney says the incidents were reported to DCF at the time. It would be on record, so I assume it to be true.

My question is when did the incident with Jr occur?

I totally understand what you are saying. My comment is for the people who are saying, "why is this coming out now, why didn't she report it before?" When she did report it before. I don't get why people keep saying that this is all coming because of custody, when she was clearly concerned before. That is evidenced by the fact that she took the pictures in the first place.

Also, if I saw that pattern of bruises on my child, there is no way I would brush them off. Especially if his big sister told me "Daddy hit him with a stick."

I'm accepting the innocent explanation of Haleigh's face. And having boys myself, I'm more than aware of normal bruising. But that pattern - with the arm and the thigh - is just too well known. No one should observe that classic pattern and brush it off as normal. IMO

I could not agree with you more. Having worked closely with DFCS for several years, you would not believe how many calls they get each day about abuse because one parent/family member is mad at the other. If she was sooo concerned and did not feel DFCS was taking her serious, she should have taken him there and let them see the brusies first hand.

What is the reason for playing this out on national TV?!?

It seems to me that putting a child out in the spotlight like that - esp. with unconfirmed allegations - would be looked upon unfavorably by the court.

BTY - you should have seen my son when he was her age - face looked the same - he was hit in the face with abaseball and mad as a Hatter that I wouldn't let him keep on playing. Bruises? He was bruised somewhere everyday of his life - he was an active kid and young adult. He and his friends played sports any time they had a chance. They were all banged up.

You are so right. Perhaps CS accepted the explanation too. Until her child went missing. Now maybe it is significant to her. The police don't seem to have any explanation for the dissapearance. Perhaps she is trying to come up with the solution herself.

I finally got to see the pics. This lawyer is suppose to be an expert on family law?!?!?! Not even close. I hope a judge nails her and Crystal to the wall. These are ridiculous allegations.

IMO Crystal is trying everything to get the focus off of Haleigh's missing status, and it just makes me want to dig further into it. She must have some reason for all this. I just haven't found it.....YET.

Tichad I have to agree with you. Even Nancy Grace is on to her and I cannot wait for her to get a look at these photos and the info to go along with it! It's more than disturbing and very sad that she would do this with her child missing! I couldn't count the number of times my children had been bumped up and bruised over the years. In any case I cannot put my finger on it but have had a hinky feeling about Crystal and her mom from the get go. The other thing that is odd to me at least is we never see her fiancee around.

I agree. She did contact DCF and she must feel her concerns fell on deaf ears. That could be why they are making it so public. Perhaps they are trying to force DCF to look at the situation more closely than they feel was done in the past. They probably feel a sense of urgency about Jr. because Haleigh is missing. I can understand that.

Hm,that's interesting,never thought of that,she's a nurse,they were setting up for custody even then,that's why the photos and going to her.IMO Which also makes us wonder about the theory of someone taking her for protection,supposedly,set up for the custody,throw out the pics and maybe it will justify why they took her out of home.IMO I think these pics will backfire and show motive.Because she had the worst photo to try and prove abuse.

I understand that Crystal has reported this before. But DFC has ruled the house safe. Do I think DFC is 100% accurate all the time? Heck no. But if they have repeatedly gone back to the house and found nothing amiss, then I will believe them.

Why did Crystal never have proof of abuse in court to show 2 different judges at 3 different times? THAT is suspicious to me.

Other than the picture of Haleigh getting hurt at school, there is STILL no proof of abuse. If Crystal and her attorney keep pushing these things, then there's a chance that she can lose her visitation until she has a psychiatric evaluation. I've seen it done before on people who repeatedly file false claims and take up the courts valuable time.

If I had my children every other weekend, I can almost guarantee you I'd visit my Dad's home while I had them so he could see them. Also, she did call DCF with her concerns.

okay now I am getting up to speed.....this is what I remember. The school nurse was interviewed and stated that the black eye DID happen at school. I wish I could find the post now, daisy there is another one besides this one....but good work finding this one!
