IMO if she has lied in the past , there are so many questions in my mind around this mother. JMHO..........................This all seems a little incredulous to me at least. So many coincidences and distractions going on here. Why does this mother continually want the focus of this investigation-her missing child not the primary focus?!! That's my biggest question. Does Crystal know that Haleigh is okay or where she is maybe?

Daisy many children who are treated for Turner's do require significant amounts of steroids replacement. Steroid replacement therapy in itself will cause a person to bruise much more easily! I know this because I am on steroid replacement therapy. The tiniest bump or cut and I bleed and bruise quite easily.

Just because Crystal took the photos doesn't mean it happened while in Ron's care.

I'm trying to catch up here and in my rush it's possible I've overlooked a post addressing this but am I reading the school and ER records/reports correctly stating that on 11/06/08 Haleigh injured her nose at school on the playground which, according to the school nurse, was a minor injury documented as a code 11 and Grandma (TN or GGM) was contacted by the school and stated that she would send someone --and now...
ER Visit; Date of visit: 11/12/08 - I notice in the upper left hand corner there is a notation of injury Nov 6th -
So if I am reading and interpreting this correctly, Ronald didn't take Haleigh into the ER until 6 days after the playground incident at school?? Wow, this just opens up a ton of questions for me, was this the first time that she was seen by a doctor for this injury, what was the date that Crystal took the pic, following November 6th when the injury occurred at school, was Haleigh in school from November 7th thru November 12th, if so what were the school's observations of her injury, (healing normally, appearance of a secondary injury or infection,...) I have so many questions but I'll start with getting these answered before moving onto the next ones...some of the answers to these questions may clear up some of the other questions in my mind...TIA!!

What if Chad did it,they were at Crystal and Chad's house?He has had a domestic child abuse charge on his kids by ex wife.When LE was looking for Haleigh's body in a dumpster,Crystal was being interviewed by reporter in her camp and Chad was standing a number of feet behind Crystal talking and laughing to someone.Odd behavior for a father to be,while future daughter is being looked for in a dumpster.IMO
These photos were set up for a future custody battle and being thrown out there now,so it will be hard to prove.Especially since Haleigh is missing and she would be old to answer,hopefully if she's in hiding,she will be brought home before this goes to court.I would hold to what she said more than either parent.

Wow great find Winterrose. IMO you hit the nail on the head. Maybe it is how Crystal actually got the idea to do this?

How many obstructions are we going to pick apart. You can't solve a case that is strewn with lies and deciet it will always lead to dead ends. So you must look at the evidence it doesn't lie nor change. It may mislead you momentarily but will never lie.

I haven't seen any pics of the alleged abuse yet, but I don't have any problem getting on his site, if in fact I am looking at the correct one.

31 days in a short period of time, is INEXCUSABLE, missed days from school. The photo with her face banged up like that is frightful. If this happened at school, then the school would be held accountable. Negligent, irresponsible reporting as to the injuries that were obtained by the child. It almost as though Cummings has had these folks there fooled and I do believe he pissed someone off and that is why Haleigh was taken. He has bullied too many people, repeated documented facts.
Children with disabilities cannot be out of school for 31 days in 3-4 months unless there is a serious hospitalization involved here.

Part of it is counting the days she has been missing from her family, part of it was this injury that happened in school, and part of it is when Crystal did not return the children home. So really, considering Haleigh has Turner's, she has not missed that much school.

The school records show that she missed nine days in Feb after she went missing. Also 6 days in Nov would be around the same time of her fall at school

We can all give our opinions on the photos as to abuse or not. The only people who would know for sure are the parent and the child. This child needs to be interviewed by an expert. No one actually knows for sure what has or has not happened to those children in the home. It is hard for me to hear people sweep away any concern about the possibility of abuse w/out an interview by a forensic specialist first. You cannot tell from the outside, just looking at pics or the injury whether it's abuse or not. The child has the answers and his story should be heard. I know what I speak of, I was abused for 13 years before anyone believed me. You really cannot tell by looking from the outside. I have broken bones and scars that were visible in school that were explained away as "normal" childhood play injuries.

GB you, stilettos! I am so sorry you had to go through that. It must be heartbreaking not to be believed. I would always believe a child or young person over an adult.

Anyway, I think you are dead on with your opinion. I want to hear from a medical person before believing that this was or was not abuse as Haleigh is not here to tell someone herself!

Yes, right Shannon that first pic of Haleigh is alarming. Bless her heart, she is smiling though.
The rest of the photos show what looks as though the bruises were caused by being struck with something straight and hard. Like a ruler or yard stick.
But, the pictures are not authenticated. There's no way of know who is in the photo when it just shows an arm or leg and no face. And no date to show when the photo was taken. So, these photos may be questionable.
I hate to say that. It would always be better to error on the side of safety when it comes to the welfare of children.

Is Kindergarten attendance required in Florida....if so, missing this much school would most likely already have prevented her from passing on into first grade next year.

IMO, based upon what I see from these pictures and what little documentation there is available linked at least to the one injury of Haleigh's - and until I find/get answers to some of my other questions - these pictures alone will not substantiate physical abuse. Does that mean it's not happening? No -but in order to raise your claim to a higher level above and beyond just the claim itself, you've gotta have alot more than this. Again, MOO

That is another point I hadn't thought about. Combined with the visual/spacial difficulties of Turner's syndrome, I think it is irresponsible of Crystal and her attorney to sensationalize the picture of Haleigh in this manner by claiming abuse.

I have no positive regard or trust in Chad and desperately wish Crystal would leave him. (Unless/until she does, I see neither party as providing a safe home for any child.) He (or her father) has always been #2-3 on my suspect list.

But Haleigh was still available for being interviewed by DCF when Crystal reported this to them, and it would have been insane to risk her telling the truth when DCF investigated. Remember, Crystal says Haleigh told her Ron did it.

I don't believe in spanking,I hate it,had way too much growing up,but I am really concerned of Crystal's motives and timing and as a Mom I would have taken every second on camera to talk to my child.I don't understand this.

JMO....I wouldn't base a CPS investigation on those pictures. Sure, the amount of absences is extreme, but I notice they've got her "unexcused" 11 days in February and she was reported missing on the 9th?
If the pics of Junior are enough to get you a CPS investigation then I'm going to be having a mad "delete photo" session today. I've got a boy, he's three. The only way I could keep him from getting banged up would be to duct tape him to a freakin wall.

Attendance in school is mandatory if the child is 6 and older.
