you bring up a few good thought. My thoughts though regards to OJ Simpson, he was a lot higher profile case, in a different Judicial system and while I can see the similarities you are talking about, I think the cases are totally different for some of the reasons I mentioned. My other thought, while I admit to some small concern about the alleged PERP getting off, I do believe the police may have alot more evidence than what we could possibly know and so its hard for us to make a judgement on how it will go, when we don't have the evidence they do. Looking at the photos of the luminol testing in the Captiva, in particular with the rear passenger door. That does not appear to be something that could be cause by a nose bleed, unless somehow you are kneeling in the backseat facing the door and smearing your nose on it. lol. I don't necessarily agree most PERPs in these cases will confess even if blindsided by detectives.. Just MOO though.

I choose to have faith in QPS and that justice will prevail..

I hope they have a lot more, and I hope justice can prevail,my speculation was just a general example, the OJ case was just a quick example, I agree with you regarding the manner you describe the nose bleed , lol, but it was just a point I was making about circumstantial evidence verse hard evidence. I too hope your presumptions about the QPS are correct, I just wont be celebrating until the sentence is handed down. One thing people should take out of this horrible tradegy is to have more awareness of their own situations and trust gut instincts. I hope any women out there who are putting up with emotion and physical abuse can gain strength to leave for the same reason they choose to stay, for the sake of them and their children. You can not teach a selfish person to treat others in the same high regard as they have of themselves.

Ha ha.. well done on the linking!.. I admit I am not sure. It really is just me being cautious just in case. You are right you would think QPS would also be removing all reference.. Maybe they thought they had removed enough to be of no concern. Perhaps they missed the other bits. Or perhaps I am just being a bit careful. I know if it was me who was potentially witness to something involving a murder case, I don't think I would want my name passed around the internet where people can track me down. Just my thoughts though. I wasn't meaning any harshness towards you posting what you did.

do you think QPS might be leaving just what they want on there, like setting traps for mongrel dogs, no similarity to BCs intended

Oh Snap UT, I didn't want to be a killjoy either, but I think it's better to be safe. With facebook, it's just way too easy to track people I think, hence why I don't use it myself, unless I'm perving at someone else's.

I'm pretty sure some of the first articles and TV news reports stated GBC 'said' she went for a walk the Thursday night around ten, then we got the footy show stories, then the morning walk.

I doubt if NBC or any other BC family member would have been offered immunity as they would have had to open their mouths and actually say something. TM could be a possibility, but if so would be to a lesser charge than murder or accessory IMO.

agree LM. bad misleading reporting without any knowledge of what happened. total BS and if it was true why has it not been mentioned since or in any other form, like court etc and defence lawyers.total crap

I hope you are right, but I dont think lawyers get sick of this sort of thing as a case this big is literally free advertising, the lawyer Chris Murphy never seems to get sick of representing Matthew Newton Totally different I know, but you can see what im getting at. Lawyers think they are way smarter than those on the public purse and if they think they can get him aquitted due to no hard evidence beyond doubt etc, then they will hang around and gloat and get a bunch of clients out of it and then they will take their cut out of the commonwealth compensation he will be paid if he is aquitted or the movie or book deals that will follow. Sadly, infamy is the new celebrity these days. The world is becoming a weird place, hence shows like "the shire" that aired here last night. I cant fathom any of it. What I call shocking and disgraceful, others call entertainment. His legal team will definitely hang around for this, but that is just my opinion, I dont have any insider legal goss on it.

I'm not even sure why QPS leave other people's comments up referring to things they delete. I was watching the QPS website sometimes over those early days, and I saw another thing of interest they deleted, but they leave all these 'thanks ..... ..... , that could well be crucial etc' type comments up, which make it quite clear who made the initial comments. Not sure if I'm making sense lol.

Not just that, but QPS quoted the woman's name and that is still there.
