I recall that GBC has a friend as reported in MSM. He crashed his friend's car. Could this be he?
(thanks Big Mac, am gobsmacked)
Minni, my impression of Davis mentioning the chipped tooth was in relation to the blood in the Captiva. Didn't he say something about a chipped tooth would not cause bleeding? He also said that there was no proof that the blood in the car was Allison's. :banghead: I'll have to go back and find exactly what he said in relation to the chipped tooth.
When it was first mentioned here that Allison's hands were supposedly missing (big hugs to Possum, I remember you being sooo upset) I immediately thought - decomposition. IMO the whole 'hands being removed' story is a rumour that has almost become fact to some.
Also in relation to Hawkins comment. I'm wondering if he may have been referring to the advanced state of decomposition as well prawns etc. that had degraded Allison's body to the point of being unrecognisable other than by dental records?
I'm assuming that photos of Allison's body may be tendered as evidence when this case goes to trial. Those photos would be terrible for jurers to look at. I certainly would not want to see them. It was difficult enough for me to do the sceencaps of her body under the bridge.
MOO.
Doc I am going to assume that you have been reading from the beginning - I am quite surprised by your question to be honest.
Hawkins as has already been stated, has answered a lot of legal questions on here for members.
Verification has never come into it for me - his knowledge speaks for itself.
I think there are members on here who mix in legal circles and who know members of the QPS and who could probably post a lot more but are holding the integrity of those friends and relatives.
I think Hawkins legal knowledge is immense and when he is back on here, I am sure that he will continue to explain the situation in legal terms to us, as it arises.

So Doc, just to make it really simple, if you post something related to the medical field we can decide for ourselves to take it on board or to leave it. My view is I would question anything anyone says regardless of their field of expertise but will give a little bit more lee way if for instance you were to post on varicose veins!Yup - I fully understand that. But it was just the apparent hints that there was more knowledge than the rest had, and that it would be confronting to a jury. I understood when I went to the trouble to get myself verified that if I didn't, then I was restricted to posting nothing that could be construed as me having any expertise in my area. In other words, I had to post nothing that would pertain to my professional knowledge unless I was verified.
Maybe I misunderstood that, or maybe I just misunderstood the essence of Hawkins' post suggesting that there was more to this than meets the eye.
But never mind - I'm not trying to sleuth Hawkins - I enjoy his posts. It was just me wondering about the "confronting to the jury" bits....
I'll just have to wait (sigh) along with everyone else (sigh) unless I can pry any info out of my forensic contacts (sigh). If I don't stop this sighing, (sigh) I'm going to hyperventilate... :floorlaugh:

Prawns are bottom feeders. They dont come to the surface, hence the way they are trawled to be caught.
(our family are "prawnies")

Rational, I thank you so much for your wise words . On behalf of all of us. :woohoo:So Doc, just to make it really simple, if you post something related to the medical field we can decide for ourselves to take it on board or to leave it. Our good friend Hawkins has decided not to be verified in his field, which I respect, this means that anything he says I can take or leave (and do not have to assume that because it is coming from a verified professional I have to give it any more weight).
However, our good friend Hawkins posts have been of such calibre and insights (both emotional and obviously knowledgeable) that he has been awarded my accolade of being the most respected poster on this forum.
Every one is entitled to their own view and I have no doubt that your posts are equally liked by some other posters.
This is just the way the cookie crumbles.
His view of what the jury would see still plays in my head and will until I hear the evidence in court. As does his incredible sensitive insight into the societal causes and effects of violence and abuse within a relationship.
