I know this has probably been asked and explained before but does anyone know of police spending a lot of time in our other areas of interest? ... I mean where we think she may have been washed from? I imagine if they think she was washed downstream then they would have been doing a lot of investigating in those areas too?

I thought I read that they shifted to the scout camp from the show ground but that may not have had anything to do with where they thought she had been placed
Det Ainsworth stated I think that there would be evidence where she was placed ( drag marks etc maybe)

Yes, Maigret.. you are right. They set up a base at the Scout Camp, but searched up Bunya and Wirrabarra Rds

If anyone is to go out there, I have just realised that the pipes location and about 20 metres of this service road look like they may be part of someones property. (according to google anyway)
The property closest to the end of wirrabara road goes off in a point.
So be warned it could be trespassing. (google maps isn't always 100% though)
There are signs of people either squatting or having a party in the area, so it's hard to tell for sure.

Also the part of Little Ugly Creek I went down into could also be the edge of someones property. Again it's hard to tell from google maps.

The dog barking was either next door to the Baden-Clay house or a few km's away in Brookfield. Absolutely nowhere near Kholo Creek.
The information about the dog came out the day after she went missing, well before Kholo Creek was on the radar.

Way back, there was an article in the Sunday Mail, and some guy from up Wirrabarra said his German Shepherd (s) went ballistic that night ... but I have not seen that story on line.. and I didn't keep the paper!

I wasn't actually down in the mud. Still on dry land.
There was actually a crab pot that someone has put in within the last week. He didn't have anything (I could see in the pot), but I found it interesting that people are back using the area as normal again.

I walked down the very steep enbankment where police had put carpet lining or something as it was very vertical. Where I took the photos from was dry and never underwater. (in normal tides)

Yes that embankment is steep - we were discussing some weeks ago what that material was that was presumably left on the bank - there are two large bits of it. Some members thought it might be for the canoeists, to help get their canoes in and out of the river.

Ok so you can get down the bank and it's not too slippery down there. We went at night a few weeks ago and I couldn't help thinking that you would only have to lose your footing down the slope and you be rolling down in the dark into the water next. IMO

I found it difficult to get good shots that showed the various inclines/slopes. It was great that you showed the descent down into Wirrabara Road too.

With regards to the mud at the Kholo Creek - we took a whole load more pictures for Minni as she had been trying to figure something out for several weeks with regards to where Allison was possibly placed and where she ended up. IMO

I had a look, seems the plaster was at the service road? Wakeskate says he/she ended up there, and the pics are in the same post. Please, someone correct me if I'm wrong in assuming that?

There are only 3 houses on that road I believe and from memory someone posted that the dogs that were howling were from the house down at the very end of the street in the cul de sac. MOO

Marlywings posted this - she found the article (which is no longer there but could be archived)

Gerard Baden-Clay's real estate operation all but grinds to a halt ...
www.news.com.au/...baden-clays...allison-baden-clay.../story-e6frfk...by: By Alison Sandy; From: The Courier-Mail; June 09, 2012 12:00AM ... Mr Baden-Clay told The Courier-Mail it was "business as usual" after relocating ... and 3am his five-year-old german shepherd Sasha started howling and wouldn't stop.

Above is when I tried to do the search again... this time the road name didn't come up but it did the first time. And then there is the interview with Alison Sandy where she does say there were reports of dogs howling/barking in Anstead that night.

MINNI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CJ... but when you went into the article, could you see where it was actually mentioned? On mine I couldn't... but even if it's not there now, it proves it once was.

EDIT.. Ok, I just saw where Mani has posted it. Well done! I'm feeling rather inferior now. lol

It took me several attempts to find the post that mentioned the dogs howling on Wirrabara. I tried searching for German Shepherds as my memory is that we originally read there was one and I thought Wozzle posted there were two but could be wrong. Somebody definitely knew there were two German Shepherds - I can't find that post.

It is so hard to believe it is almost four months since Allison was murdered. Yet here we are still sleuthing away.

I had a look at same of the photo's Mani posted and in the middle of the footsteps there is what looks to be an imprint of a body. Can anyone else see this !

Thank God Rational!!!!!!.....This is the reason I asked Mani to take more mud photos...because i could see the imprint of where she lay ( I thought)

Are you referring to photo #6?

Photo 6 but also partly on 5, the shape coincides with the photos that were in MSM but were taken off very soon after. Also if you look something has been laying there as the green algae does not cover the area.
