It is so hard to believe it is almost four months since Allison was murdered. Yet here we are still sleuthing away.

I had a look at same of the photo's Mani posted and in the middle of the footsteps there is what looks to be an imprint of a body. Can anyone else see this !

I can't, but what shot are we looking at?

And the footsteps go around that shape.

If it is what I think it is it seems that the body came to rest there as however awful it sounds, and it floated to that spot. It doesn't look like it came there with a lot of force or that it rolled there. Apparently corpses float face down after awhile and it looks like this it what the imprint shows. Sorry to be so graphic, but the is what I can see,

Yes- like where was that police tape?? and the plaster? sorry, I should be re reading.. not asking, as it may have already been answered.

I saw no police tape. It was SES tape marking what looked like a bread crumb trail to the pipes area.
There also appeared to be plaster in certain areas. Could be totally wrong, but the white substance appeared to be concentrated in a few areas, and looked like plaster.

Yes that embankment is steep - we were discussing some weeks ago what that material was that was presumably left on the bank - there are two large bits of it. Some members thought it might be for the canoeists, to help get their canoes in and out of the river.

I would be betting the police put the carpet there as the bank was just getting too slippery and messy with them walking up and down.
Caoeists may use it as an entry point, but I would doubt it personally. It's way too steep to get up and down safely.

Thank God Rational!!!!!!.....This is the reason I asked Mani to take more mud photos...because i could see the imprint of where she lay ( I thought)

Which particular photo is this?

There were only 5 photos in the ones I saw, so I gather I'm looking at the wrong lot? No number 6?

Wakeskate
There were reports in MSM quoted above where people at Anstead reported their dog Sasha, a German Shepard howling as well as some neighbouring dogs. This was different to Scraps whose owner has the neighbouring property GBCs rented house!

Thanks. I found the references in the google searches but not the articles.
I also couldn't find Mason in the phone book in Anstead. Must be a silent number. If they were listed it might give some info on which street.

It did say "up the end of Wirrabarra" in the first search I did. Plus, alot of people just have mobile phones these days and not land lines... or as you said, silent numbers.

Weren't the DPP supposed to be handing the 'Brief of Evidence' to GBC's Defence Lawyers on Monday August the 20th or has that all been changed ?

I haven't heard anything different Elspeth, so I'm assuming it will go ahead on Monday. I've sent a heads up to MSM about this and hopefully the Defence will reveal more of what the brief of evidence contains in the coming weeks. It is only another two weeks until the committal hearing on 3 September and hopefully it will not just be a mention. IMO Allison deserves justice as swiftly as possible.

Well I was surprised that it had been left there as it could be washed into the creek and then create a problem as rubbish. MOO

Another member suggested it was used by canoeists, so I don't really know who/why it was put there but the photos didn't do it justice as there were two large pieces of material when we went. IMO

Wakeskate - there could be different material there now than when I was there and this photo doesn't do justice to the size of what was left there on the bank.

That would make sense to me.
I would have driven up and down the road first to make sure there was no activity.

I think someone suggested that it could be another mention as it will be basically about the total brief of evidence and deciding how much time it will take for the trial. I want justice by having the person who did this nailed well and truly, not just half! IMO

Yep, definately in pic 6 it looks like the outline. Thank you for pointing me to the right pics :)

Apparently the soil under and around Allison's body was removed by forensics so IMO I don't think that there would be an impression of her body in the mud.

MOO.

Sure, but there would have been a lot sticking to the body. I can only say what I see, and that is what I see in the pictures. Also I found it odd the the footsteps go around that imprint not through it. Whereas the rest of the area has footprints all over it. IMO

Sorry, Wakeskate.. SES tape..
Ok - so it was off Wirrabarra - that service road area... thanks!

Same stuff is still their.
I do agree it is a bit of a mess, but then at the time the police probably weren't sure if they were finished with the area, and when they decided they probably didn't think to send someone out to clean up.

I suppose if they took soil from under her body, it would still have left an indent which may have been built up again... but still leaving the mark there?

I know from my the holes by dog digs {Not deep ones, just ones he digs to keep himself warm or cool, more long than deep} that after a while the soil seems to naturally refill but you can still see where the hole/indent was originally.... especially after it has rained.

The photos look very much like what I'm talking about.
