Yes, Danny Boyle said (in response to the Peter Davis' submissions that Allison had no injuries other than a chipped tooth) that she had a subdural haematoma. I know what a subdural haematoma is as my dad had one following head surgery and as soon as Danny said it, I thought that was what my dad had. I wrote it in my notes so I am sure that was said.

I was thinking that was the case (from your notes). Reporters wouldn't necessarily know the diff though. Poor thing must have had a decent knock on the head then.

Good point Makara. The police case is that at least one of his motives was to collect on insurance policies so one would think he would want her to be found, though perhaps not too soon so as to hide any evidence of the murder. And they don't have a cause of death just possibilities and some exclusions such as falling from the bridge. So if that was part of his plan, that bit has worked to an extent.

I would still love to know what happened at the roundabout and I doubt it will be him riding one of his daughter's bikes. However, if he did do this I will eat my hat.
Someone mentioned the phone signal for FTP at Rafting Ground Reserve. Would he have been so stupid to put it in one of the bins at the park?

MSM report that GBC queried Mr. Bruce Flegg about cameras at the roundabout. IMO red flag! "Where there is smoke, there is fire". Something significant happened at that roundabout and the Police were on to it IMO.

Alicat, your query about the bins at Rafting Ground Reserve and disposal of ABC's phone there - it's possible. Here is another query: Is it possible that ABC's phone was placed in the bins near the roundabout in Kenmore? Would the phone be likely to ping at Fig Tree Pocket in that case?

Now that all of this evidence has been made public you can understand why the police were suspicious from the outset.

The scratches, the conversations that assume that ABC is not coming home (that acceptance in the grief takes a while) his father and sister at the house very early (I think they know a lot more than we have been told) it all adds up to GBC knowing alot more that he should have.

What I found upsetting after reading bits from the diary was the way Allison felt about herself.
From all I have read and heard she was a very capable and intelligent woman and a good mother. It is obvious that she had so much to offer. How on earth could GBC, who appears to have/had nothing to offer this world, make her doubt herself etc. he is the one who a should have been doubting himself not Allison.

It seems he had a long campaign of demeaning her. So nasty.

I agree but what also struck me from her diary notes which seem to be shortly before she went missing though we don't know the dates, was that she wasn't considering leaving him, she was worried about him leaving her and being left alone. She tried everything to save her marriage because she loved him. Very sad.

I have said before that I think his interest in her was for financial reasons and she did lend him lots of money which she is never going to see again. His other girlfriends all seem to be younger than him and mainly light hair/blonde so I think TM was not really his type.
