Allison had told her friend that she would be dropping something's off to her on the way home from the conference .could this have been the toys ?

Mr Boyle said Allison's blood was found in Baden-Clay's car, and "the quantity and position of the blood" suggested that the seat had been "laid flat to make it a boot".

At first glance it looked like the boot of any family car full of their daughters toys but police say, behind them they found their mother's blood.

Ewww! I thought I had read everything there was to read about this, but somehow missed this one.
"At first glance it looked like the boot of any family car full of their daughters toys but police say, behind them they found their mother's blood."
I wonder if that's why my blood goes cold when I see the boxes of toys. I know it's not in an MSM report. Nor a rumour, just an online contributor's symptoms. Nausea included. Every time she sees any footage with the boxes of toys.

I wonder wheat he was wearing on the night ? A shirt with a thickish type collar ?

If someone should grab the collar and pull hard on a Polo shirt like that, wouldn't the tape rub and dig into the skin? VERY SIMILAR TO THOSE MARKINGS? Usually a polo type shirt has a tape around the inside of the collar to stop the warping, the shirt is stretch knit but the tape is not.

Hopelessly devoted to you.....:boohoo:

Just to indulge myself and share what I find most disturbing and why I lose sleep:
Allison was missing ...
Mrs Dickie: "Our lives will never, never be the same".
Olivia: "We just want to be normal".
These two statements are like chalk and cheese, oil and water. I haven't provided links as I think they are an unforgettable standout to anyone who has been following.

Poss whats your take on the events of the night. Definitely would be interested in hearing your reservations about the bridge dumping scenario that has been suggested. What is your greatest doubt about that ... just very curious how your thinking this went down.

Excellent - and Kerrianne would be able to confirm this.

Interesting I thought the marks on GBC's hand could have been from Allison fighting against GBC and biting him as he held his hand over her mouth. It would be interesting to see a photo as GBC described the incident as being caused by 'changing a bayonet light fitting that disintegrated in his hand'. So ostensibly the wound could have been circular.

With the toys in the back of the captiva, isn't the implied suggestion that if GBC transported Allison in the back of the captiva, that afterwards he found some items such as old toys that may have been say stored in the carport, to put in the car as some sort of decoy of what he used the car for that night?

Possibly the toys were in the carport awaiting a goodwill store and the boxes were quickly used to camouflage a body in the back, remember the panic must have been huge!

Most people call ambulances, most people DON'T discard their loved ones.

Yes there has been a lot of hiding behind children.

Extract from Allison's diary. What is meant by ""My husband for booking in until 2pm..."?
So there was the occasional tenderness which somehow makes me a little settled that she had a little happiness in her short life. Even when the motives and what was in store only a short time away.

However, her life had been more positive earlier that year.
"Today I am grateful for ... the loving text I just received from my husband," she wrote.
"My tireless parents and their tireless, unconditional love.
"My ballet friends and the lovely breakfast I had this morning.
"My husband for booking in until 2pm so I could enjoy my morning and for making dinner."

Sorry if this is off topic, but one thing I've noticed from looking at recent media photos of GBC is how different he looks in all of them - does anybody else think this? Perhaps it's all in the angle, but he goes between looking very thin/larger particularly in the face.

Yes there has been a lot of hiding behind children.

Wonder if there was something horribly incriminating that the boxes covered, like a big pool of blood. (Speculating as to why I have such a grave apprehension about something that should be altogether innocent.)
If I were a police person, I would probably think twice before moving the box of toys. Something about a sacred element, children possibly motherless, a poor husband possibly grieving. Sacred territory.

I have finally caught up. Thanks to all the regular contributors for your efforts. I have been thinking lately, I don't know what will be worse, GBC being found innocent and taking his girls back and getting the insurance money (especially if he is guilty) or GBC being found guilty, and 3 little girls having to realize what their father has done to their mother. Either way 3 little girls lives will never be the same again, as they are without their adored mother.

I'm also hoping that he doesn't find some way out of it. But he is going to have to come up with ONE scenario, so he's going to think which is most likely to be believed.

I think the worst case scenario would be that he gets off and gets the girls back, and the money and the girls will end up figuring all out for themselves one day.

I think most of us agree on the fact that he & his family haven't had much to say speaks volumes.

I can't figure out how they're trying to play this.

What normal person goes to a doctor let alone three, to verify scratches? If I verified every scratch, graze, bruise, burn or cut I think I would need to go every day of the week! And for what reason except to prove that the injuries are a certain type?! "Morning doc, just wondering if you could verify that these scratches on my face are from my razor?" Ummmmm really? I am stunned into speechlessness when trying to come up with a logical reason for ANYONE wanting verification of a wound unless they were trying to establish a "wound alibi" because they needed an acceptable excuse for claw like scratches on their face the day after their wife went missing....

I believe he looked chubbier the day Allison was reported missing and over the following weeks he did loose weight IMO.

If he is found not guilty, those girls will live the rest of their lives wondering if he did do it or not ... I probably would. If he is found guilty and for the next 25 years is out of their lives, I believe they will have a loving upbringing with the Dickies and extended family.

Kate Kyriacou, The Courier-Mail,June 22, 2012 2:19PM.
The Crown said its case against Baden-Clay relied on several points:
- His relationship with his wife was unstable and "his intention for a future with Ms McHugh".
- He was in dire financial trouble and stood to benefit greatly from Allison's death.
- He had the opportunity, being the last person to see her alive.
- The deceased's blood was allegedly found in the boot of Gerard's car.
- Mr Baden-Clay told police he cut his face shaving, but Forensic examination concluded that it was fingernail scratches.
