So what is going on with Ms. Nielsen? I am totally lost.

I hope this post doesn't get missed (Marly where are you?) but what purpose would it serve if one one the witnesses last week didnt use their real name?

May have fled a violent ex or something?

have to respectflly disagree Aunty, it does eem somewhat farfetched that it took place.

Judging by the TM we've seen, I doubt she could hold anything together under interrogation from the police.

She got herself into a dreadful mess that kept getting worse and worse. I doubt we'll see much of her again. A little at the trial, and then she'll disappear.

I do so agree, Digg.... I dont think Toni had the poise to murder Allison , dispose of her body, then get up and be bright and chipper at a conference the next morning.. and pull off being nothing out of the ordinary Toni at it for hours.. no.. dont see that,....

I can understand the defence wanting to point out that TMs truths got more revealing after finding about the other affairs, I can understand why they want to place emphasis on her poor ability to recall dates and specifics of past events. It's their job, they are getting paid well to even cause the slightest doubt.

Though in fairness and to be completely unbiased, I am surprised that people have mentioned their surprise in her not writing things down, I can imagine how guilty I would look expecting to recall details of things at the time had no great significance. Time goes so fast that I sometimes look back at the previous month and wonder if I achieved anything at all, though if I wrote everything down as I went, I would see how much I actually got done. I don't write things down... unless they seem very important or relevant. Unless trying to conceive a child I can't ever imagine writing down when I was 'with' my partner, do people REALLY do that? I had no idea!

I also think it's only fair that when under pressure your mind fails you, just as an example: has anyone seen a suspicious car and repeated the number plate over in your head and just as you go to write it down you lose it. The mind lets us down sometimes, it doesn't mean we are hiding things.
I think most women would be a bit more forthcoming with evidence if they found out there were other mistresses. Just the defence trying to make her look like she was so cranky at him that she might have it in for him To be honestI think the defence has to accept that ALOT of people have it in for him, and for good reason. These people don't have to lie to make him look bad, the truth is doing it.
Re: writing things down. That was something I did alot once but I haven't for a long time now. No-one is the same, some people do write things down in journals or whatever and others couldn't be bothered or have no interest in it.

Some people write stuff to help them see things more clearly where others wouldn't know where to start.

Even if you do have a good memory if something shocking happens you can lose the recall.

For her sake, and her sons' wellbeing, I hope she does forget about him now.

For hers also! Gosh I hope she opens her eyes, if she hasn't already! :-(

Earlier on, I looked at back yard photographs. Okay, they were taken in June - 2 months after Allison was gone, but given it was winter months - it showed a back yard that was very dishevelled looking. The sort of place that families would not use to socialise with other families. I think there is going to be some bleak stuff emerge about this case. I think they were a more dysfunctional family than has hit the press yet. I don't believe for a moment that the trial is going to be a cut and dry matter. GBC's life hangs in the balance and even though (IMO) he's probably the biggest dumbo that walked the planet and (IMO) probably totally responsible for the demise of his wife, I think the guy is hanging on with the hope that his biggest investment in his life (Peter Davis) is just going to do the circus tricks that are required to get him off. Off topic, but suggest viewers here catch up on some You Tube clips for the trial of Jodi Arias .... court room antics add up to more than truth I believe!

Folks we're going to cut the current discussion about the witness.

If a witness has used an alias then they must have a very good reason for doing so. This would be all ok'd by police.

And because the name hasn't been mentioned in MSM or in affidavits it can't be posted here at all.

Don't know how to do it so sorry but I just googled the name and courier mail . Long article . Photo down the bottom

For what it's worth I find it unlikely that Toni had anything to do with the physical murder of Allison but she helped Gerald psychologically murder Allison long before that. It is clear that she was very determined to break up that family to the point of stalking Gerald when he tried to break it off. It shouldn't have started and most definitely should have ended then.
Some people make light of "affairs" but the affair they had is the kind that was always going to end badly and hurt many people.Cheating not only destroys people and families in obvious ways but can end in suicide or murder.
She was clearly completely obsessed with Gerald and sadly, for her, he consumed her.I believe that Gerald was stringing her along and would never have been faithful to her. He may have been planning to leave Allison but he fooled Toni. He may not have gone to her at all or only used her again for a time. I can only think that like Allison, Gerald eroded Toni's self-esteem also. Her good feelings depended on him.
If not her then Gerald would have found someone else to cheat with, no doubt but I believe it was Toni that took it to the next level, pushing him to leave his wife for her. She wanted what she thought Allison had. It is extremely selfish, foolish and dangerous what Toni did. I know that I should feel sorry for her but I find it very hard to do so. She didn't kill Allison but she has hurt alot of people and may have indirectly contributed to Allison's death.

Yes. I was surprised when I saw the photos of the yard.

I think she must see him for what he really is now.
I wonder if she will stick around in Brisbane, I hope her kids are doing ok.
Would be a tough age for them to deal with this personal stuff.

Peter Davis is a SC, I doubt he has circus tricks, he wouldn't be happy with the invoice...

Well, she has done a good job then to be so convincing.

Or not. They could have been brought back by NBC or OW in the morning. We only know for sure they were leaving with OW when police arrived. We only have G's word they woke up in their own beds.

Yes even after reading the statements there are still some pieces that don't fit together. TMcH said she was speaking to GBC about 5.30 on the 19th of April, while he was dropping the girls dinner (sausages) to EBC. So did he stay for dinner as well and then take them home, or did they stay the night with BC Snrs, was that the reason for ABC last phone call to Olivia, how are the girls etc, or are you bringing them home now? Where the BC's or Olivia at the Brookfield house around 8.30pm on the 19th?
