A bit strange isn't it AAAA? I had thought the Bielby Rd search was connected to the Kenmore Scouts (which is on Bielby Rd), but that is considered Kenmore Hills as far as I am aware...? Not sure about why Chapel Hill would be included yet not Kenmore.

If I might suggest - there is a personal GBC connection to this suburb both people and places. One of his referees lives in Chapel Hill and the primary school is a connection to his girls. GBC's phone was also connected to the suburb from the gps co-ordinates logged when he was out searching for Allison (sent his text).

The support for this factual information re the gps coordinates is within the court documents for the analysis of his phone (not the phone records). Those records are here on WS thread if you wish to confirm for yourself - it is not a rumour.

Given the names of his referees from his first bail application - it wasn't too big a step to check out where they lived.

Perhaps the screams Flegg supposedly heard were the screams that were also reportedly heard, further down Rafting Ground Road towards Winrock Street? The ones that were possibly from a teenagers party or the like. I'm so confused about these screams - so odd for anyone to be reporting screams on that very night - if they are completely unrelated it is coincidental. It is a fairly quiet neck of the woods and it was a week night, not the weekend, so less chance of parties etc. Strange!

BBM I recall a local poster, on an earlier thread, informed he/she had sighted the BC senior's car, parked with the BC seniors inside, quietly staring straight ahead, near the corner of Rafting Ground Rd and Winrock Street - after GBC had been committed to stand Trial for the murder of ABC.

We speculated, at that time, as to what this might mean.

I lived on Deerhurst Road which is the street just before the kindy and the BC house. I was home all night and at that stage my bedroom was right on the road in direct line with their house. Noone in our house heard anything and we had our property etc searched several times. Trust me the sound carries at night around there. I could hear when the yoga centre or such like where having a party at night.

And yet the people across the road (who gave evidence at the committal - Tketzkoff?) heard a ruckus as did the lady from the tennis courts down the road a bit - I will have to check the time of those reports, from memory it was around 9:30-10pm? I hope there is more evidence at the trial to make sense of these neighbours' reports of what they heard.

Sue Heath in her statement says The last time I saw GBC prior to Allison going missing, I did not see him with any injuries. I have not seen GBC since Alison went misssing except the day of the funeral.
Those injuries were pretty fresh so when did she last see him?

I compiled the following from information given on day one of the committal hearing last year. I did post it somewhere here but I can't remember where. :banghead:

Timeline from witness statements.

Day One of Committal Hearing of Gerard Baden-Clay - 11 March 2013.

Thursday 19 April 2012.

8:00pm – 9:00pm: Julie Tzvetkoff, who lives across from the Baden-Clay home heard yelling coming from that direction. It was a sharp loud yell but she couldn’t tell if it was male of female. Her dog also barked that night. The dog usually only barks at the sound of car doors.

Kim Tzvetkoff also heard a shout from across the road. “It was a startled or shocked yell out.” He said. Possibly no more than a couple of words which I couldn’t discern what they even said. Something startling had happened. I wouldn’t describe it as a scream. I feel it was a startled, shocked reaction.” He said he was convinced it was a woman’s voice. “I did say ‘what was that? And I stood there for a moment and it wasn’t repeated.”

10:00pm. Susan Braun, a neighbour of the Baden-Clays heard her neighbours’ dogs barking.

10:30pm: David Jenkinson, who lives in the Kholo Creek area, heard two heavy thuds, a car door closing and dogs barking in the direction of the bridge. The barking of the neighbourhood dogs had alerted Jenkinson to something unusual. Mr. Jenkinson said that he heard two thuds, followed by a car door closing. “The sound you would hear if you had thrown a bag of concrete onto grass.” He said. “A heavy thud.”

11:30PM. Ms. Braun woke to loud noises. She was woken by a very loud human noise, out the front, in the area of the Baden-Clay’s residence. It sounded like yelling. She heard it twice.

Friday 20 April 2012.

12:30am Brian Mason, a resident of Anstead near Kholo Creek. Stated his dog started barking at around 12:30am. He quietened his dog and he could then hear howling. According to new information given eight months later, Brian Mason stated he heard voices ... someone talking.

4:00am: Anne Whittle woke twice to the sound of her neighbour's dog barking. She recalls the second time she awoke was at 4:00am.

4:00am: Brian Mason's wife, a resident of Anstead near Kholo Creek spotted two cars on the side of Mt. Crosby Rd.

BF said in his statement

"I recall there may have been a Chamber Of Commerce meeting on Thursday 19th of April 2012, the morning Allison went missing"

If the there was a meeting did GBC go to it? Did he have any injuries Thursday morning?
How many times a day do men shave??

No Amee, GBC didn't attend the COC meeting. He phoned the police at 7:15am to report Allison missing and waited for them to arrive, which from memory was at about 8:30am.

Hi everyone. Been checking in every so often over the past few months. Now I'm here to stay, until Justice for Allison has been done. Thank you in advance to everyone who will be in attendance at the trial and posting. If I could, I would be there, every single day. As it is, I will be on here, each and every day. Thank you also to our regular WS posters, those who express opinions, ask questions, moderate with empathy, provide links, post photos and maps, offer sometimes much-needed humour, play Devil's Advocate to provoke meaningful discussion, remind us of why we are all here and those who offer verified enlightenment. (Think DrWatson and Alioop amongst so many). I thank you all so much. Although I cannot be at the trial, I will be there, every step of the way, in spirit for Allison. I'm wearing something yellow for every day. Together, we will see justice done.

Beautiful post Oz Jen. I'm pleased you are here with us and hopefully we will see justice for Allison and her family.

Didn't GBC take a selfie which was found on his phone at the cross country on Thursday which showed no scratches on his cheek?

INSURANCE....The Brisbane flood was the reason GBC's business took a dive (allegedly). I believe there is business insurance against fire & flood, indirectly.
Not directly that if a business gets flooded out or burnt down but a cause that effects indirectly the income of the business.
Did the blame fingered at the dam gates opening go through to court?

Just a thought.
Everything and everybody seemed heavily insured, I'd imagine this type of insurance would be in place.

Many many homeowners were denied cover by definition that it wasn't a storm. I don't know how it would filter down to real estate except I can say for certain that not many people would have rated buying or selling homes as high on the agenda for months after the floods. It was chaos. Sorry I can't give solid facts and figures to back that up.

ETA businesses in Toowoomba were denied cover, so Brisbane would be no different.

Sorry Amee, my mistake. So good question. Did GBC attend the COC meeting?

I am quickly realising how much detail one can forget in two years! I am certain that I found a pic of GBC at that particular COC meeting, in the following month's local rag (the Brookfield Bulletin). I posted about it, so will do a trawl through my old posts later tonight to confirm.

I'm thinking that we pieced together his movements from the meeting on the thurs morning, to kenmore village straight after (visited the chemist?) then onto cross country at the school - roughly. Does this ring a bell to anyone?

Its interesting going over past posts.

We did discuss it all when we were working out a timeline.

http://floodaid.com.au/flood-real-estate-prices/

With most Australian’s net worth being tied up in real estate and with some significant flood events over the last five years, it is an opportune time to reflect on the extent floods impact real estate prices. During the 2011 Brisbane floods, an estimated 18,000 properties (IBISWorld) were impacted. At the time media scaremongering suggested property prices falls of 50% or more.

I'd forgotten about this Fuskier. Thanks for the heads up. There is a roundabout at the intersection of Rafting Ground Road and Winrock Street, Brookfield. I've attached some screen grabs for a better view. There are also two bus shelters in Winrock Street just up from the roundabout. Hmmm.

There is not a lot there really. Vacant land on one side and housing on the other. I'm intrigued as to what Nigelaine were doing there.
