Wow, Sue and Bruce are some characters hey? Forgive me as I catch up on this aspect of this terrible crime. I really feel for Allison, I bet dollars to donuts her murder will be made into a movie because it is stranger than fiction.
The person her accused hubby asks to borrow a massive sum of money from, a sum of money required that could very well be the motivation for her murder, hears screams the night she goes missing. But doesn't report them to well after other reports have hit the news and things start looking grim for GBC if I have my timeline right.
In addition, his lover loans the soon to be accused an iphone which is later recovered in an investigation into political corruption. Whilst lending this phone, she is photographed with Elaine Baden-Clay at the mailbox, in apparent support, despite the fact she has never met her before. The only public non-family support we see for the Baden-Clay's is a business acquaintance of her son. Either the nature of the relationship was underplayed or Sue and Bruce are quite keen to involve themselves in drama. I think there is evidence it might be the latter as Sue and Bruce seem quite happy to dig for gossip about his marriage and a woman's mental health they've never met. Regardless, they seem to operate in a similarly sloppy manner as the Baden Clays, birds of a feather and all that. I mean, how many legal battles does the average Joe Blow get himself tangled up in? Those must have been some cracker Commerce meetings.
I don't believe that Toni was involved in Allison's murder except as a contributing catalyst, but my guess is that there are financial dealings that could land her in very hot water and this is all the leverage required, along with her hurt feelings.
As for other accomplices, looking at my map, google says you'd travel through the roundabout to get between the brookfield rd home and the durness st home. Is there a reason you'd not go via the rafting ground rd? I mean seriously, going to a lit busy spot to get picked up to assist in a crime seems very ill advised. Not that anything done seems well advised.
