I'm so happy and I wanted to share super fast. I am having one of those mondays, in law drama, tons of deadlines, the works... just overall grouchy gross day. Then this story comes across my fb ........ AMAZING !~ I am so so so happy and remember no matter how bad your day or your life circumstances, there are 3 families right now who had the most wonderful gift there is and we should put down our troubles for a little bit and celebrate with them. Prayers for you young ladies to have happy lives ahead !

I think they said one had a child and there were more children in the house. I'm assuming one or all three of them are now mothers . Speculative and MOO of course.

eta, sorry one had a child beside her while she banged on window for help. I'm speculating where the young child came from .

I think the left is Amanda's sister. Amanda in the middle (or I might have that reversed) AFAIK from the caption I saw earlier, that is a child in the bed, thought to be Amanda's daughter.

What makes it even more wonderful is that there are so many people who might have ignored the screaming coming from the house - but this man didnt. Charles said he thought it was a domestic dispute at the time - something that, unfortunately, many people are still reluctant to involve themselves in even when they see or hear it going on. But Charles DID get involved. Knocked the damn door down for her to get out. Thank god it was him who heard, and not someone who may have just ignored it, told themself it wasn't their business... So wonderful to think the right person was there at the right time.

We all need to be more like Charles, and not hesitate to get involved when we see or hear something wrong!

It is so unbelievable that these women are alive. I've read about them over the years and unfortunately figured they were victims of a sexual serial killer, and long dead. Turns out they were survivors, instead. They must all be incredibly strong to have survived all these years like that. :rose:

The Action News link identifies the girl on the left as Amanda's sister. Amanda's mother died a few years ago, and her sister has kept the fight to find Amanda going. WOIO does not identify the child. The man who called 911 mentioned live on WKYC there were children taken from the home as well, but I don't expect they will be publicly named for privacy reasons because they are children.

This story is like Shawn Hornbeck, Jacie Dugard, and Elizabeth Smart all at the same time....mindblowing!

FYI, I checked earlier and Michelle was not listed on NamUs. At that time, Amanda and Gina's cases were still active on NamUs, so it wasn't that they had been removed. Michelle just never had one it seems

This week there were three missing women rescued and one missing woman from another case that showed up by her free will. It really gives hope to other I solved cases. I wish this happened more often!

Michelle went missing in 2002, so the child in the bed couldn't be her. The child has been identified as Amanda's child.
