Gina's relative was just on CNN live. she said the child is Amanda's daughter, aged 3.

CBS news says she is 6. She certainly looks older than 3.

It is adding up for me. I think the young girl was Castro's granddaughter. All babies born to the 3 kidnap victims are buried in the backyard.

TREAT AS RUMOR UNTIL CONFIRMED: Twitter / FB posts from police and spectators on scene are saying 4 babies buried in backyard.

Can you provide links to the twitter/FB posts. If allowed by mods. If not please disregard. Just curious. Thanks!

Social services wouldn't be involved if the girls gave birth at home and there was no record.

But they would be involved in AC's granddaughter's case.

I think the girl in the hospital bed is not the daughter of one of the kidnapped girls. I think it is Ariel Castro's granddaughter.

http://www.journalgazette.net/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080216/LOCAL03/802160327/1002/LOCAL

Her mother is in prison for trying to kill her, so Ariel could have been raising her. She'd be 6 now.

There is a photo of the girl on Anthony Castro's FB page and she looks just like hospital girl.

OMG. From your link:

During the trial, defense attorneys John Bohdan and Zachary Witte produced evidence Castro suffered from serious depression for years before the birth of her daughter, and that it spiraled into paranoia, causing her to think her family was trying to kill her and the baby, at the time of the attack.

On one hand, you'd have to be some kind of ill or evil to do that to a child. On the other hand, I see why she could have been fearful of these people!

I have no idea who the little girl is for certain but our local news has repeatedly reported that it is in fact Amanda Berrys daughter....

I am referring to the granddaughter. Someone said he has a granddaughter whose mother tried to kill her and there is speculation he had custody. If he had custody, social services would have been in that house. At least if custody was formal.

This is the reason why I continue to post the NCMEC. We need to look at the pictures more and stop, look and listen. I can imagine this will be the first good nights sleep the parents have had in 10 years.

Since neighbors haven't said anything about seeing the child there, AC likely didn't have official custody of any children.

I do not think any of the girls willingly helped w kidnapping,,but often in these cases it is easier to lure a girl to a car if you have another girl in the car

I recall the movie w Angelina Jolie Changling where pedophile had other boys in the car so that little boy would come up to the car. Michelle might have been in the car, asked for directions, etc. and girls approached bc they saw a girl their age. They might not have approached if they saw a dirty old man. He might have used the girls to get other girls.

But I think all the girls are victims and to extent any facilitated his evil actions, it was for fear of their life

Seems odd That he would kidnap all three and then no more kidnapping for 10 years? Why did kidnappings stop? Or maybe they didn't? If so where are the other girls?

I agree anything that the girls did was to save themselves just as it was for Steven Stayner and Shawn Hornbeck etc.

I just had an issue with pointing a finger at Michele simply because she was not a teen when abducted and because there isn't any information on her.

I see nothing "Hincky" about the fact LE isn't talking about Michele- for all we know Michele doesn't want information released. Remember she has children she hasn't seen and has to think about. I know I would want to speak to them first before details about her hit the airwaves.

Like I said there are 3 known men to blame here everyone else is a victim.

agreed but there's supposedly 2 kids (6 and 3) which one is which .. it's hard telling. Either way, I'm glad to see smiles in the photos.

Locally, people are calling for the firing of the dispatcher.

I think he/she (it IS hard to tell) should have kept Amanda on the phone until the police arrived (I thought that was policy). He was her lifeline. No one said the dispatcher was a criminal, but I do think we are allowed to share our opinions. And this is only mine. :)

The 911 dispatcher knew she was with the neighbours across the street because the called showed a different address then what she reported. He must have felt she was safe with the neighbours otherwise she wouldn't be calling 911 and then announcing "I'm free". He had obviously dispatched a car to that address Amanda mentioned. At one point it sounds like he chuckled 1:22 of the link, so he must have felt ecstatic and he called her Dear. It would be interesting to find out what Ohio's protocol is on 911 calls as to whether he should have stayed on the line with her. I give him credit, as I feel he did verify the address and asked Amanda for the name of the man who left the house. I won't be hard on him as everything turned out fine. :moo:

Personally, I think there are bigger fish to fry right now....the three 🤬🤬🤬 who abducted these young ladies.

Almost 500 posts in under 5 1/2 hours. Is that some kind of record? Just curious if anyone keeps track of such things?

Well whoever she is, the two were close based on body language.

Here's my take on the dipatcher, I put myself in this persons shoes and I imagine I would have lost my composure and would have been freaking out. While I think more compassion could have been shown and the dispatcher could have, and maybe should have, stayed on the line, I think it's probably how most calls are answered. I'm guessing you learn quickly to keep your emotions hidden...as hard as that would may be.

What an amazing story though for 3 missing girls to be found. Hoping they can recover from the trauma they have surely endured.

That is disturbing on so many levels my head is spinning.

This is all more than one person can comprehend. I am nauseated, I don't know where it starts or end.:notgood:

But, the little girl in the picture looks happy, dressed in a pretty white dress with jewelry on her fingers and wrists. Her smile is gorgeous and in that smile I see HOPE, BEAUTY and LIFE. Hope your life will be filled with many happy days ahead. :heartbeat:
