I think he has no sense of decency at all. He didn't agree he was violent, he only agreed to the charges for the purpose of the deal, he showed no remorse and to boot he stated he's taking blood pressure and cholesterol medicine. Why, because he wants to live. To me if he showed remorse, he wouldn't have questioned any of the charges and his sole purpose in doing so was the appeal process.
Of course he will never go free, but he certainly could have sincerely admitted to the crimes he committed, but he didn't.
He is beyond evil and was only looking out for himself today.

I was surprised this happened so quickly. He's no dummy. He knew it could be death and he doesn't want to be on death row. Also, the coward can;t keep his eyes open or ten seconds because he is such a baby he can't face what he did. Can you imagine him having to sit through trial (although as someone said he might have gotten off on reliving the details, who knows).
But I echo what everyone else said. This is the best thing for the survivors. I'm very glad they won't have to sit there and publicly recount every horrible thing that happened. Poor things.
However, they will have the opportunity to give victim impact statements if they want.

I heard it on the radio as I am in between homes in two states. I for one am happy that there will be no trial as the three ladies should not have to go through verbally what they went through physically. Those three ladies, Amanda, Gina, and Michelle are some of the strongest women and deserve the utmost respect and hopefully will be left alone.
It is my opinion that his lawyers told him to take the deal, they knew he was dead man walking. His day is coming. jmo

Wow this is great! I'm impressed that she was willing to get up in front of the crowd, too - you know people were probably watching and whispering before that, and it's cool she got up and just said she's there, and out, and having fun. (ETA not that I know exactly what she said, but I'm impressed she got up and said something... and look at her SMILE in these pics!)
I'd have burst into tears if I'd been in the crowd, I'm sure of it.

I'm glad she is getting out and having fun.
But I have a special fear for her. I hope that making up for all that partying she didn't get to do doesn't lead her into trouble.

I'm just curious, does anyone know who the guy behind Amanda is? Does she have a brother? I'm hoping it's a boyfriend, because at first he seems to be touching her with comfort and support (squeezing her shoulder, hugging her from behind), but around the 1:14 mark he is rubbing her belly and kinda rubbing her breast in a more intimate way - just seems kinda inappropriate, IMO, so I'm hoping it's a boyfriend and not a relative of hers.
ETA: I love her big smile and courage to walk out in front of such a huge crowd! I pray for only the best future for these 3 ladies and Amanda's young daughter.

BBM: I saw this on the local news tonight and my stomach just dropped. I found it highly inappropriate of this unknown male.
I am so happy for Amanda and wishing the very best for her! She deserves to have fun! Hopefully, she won't fall prey to the vulchers of this world. She's been through enough!! I want her to smile the rest of her life!

There's a guy commenting a lot on the YT page of that video claiming that the mysterious groper is his brother and a "childhood friend" of Amanda "showing his love & support for her." I guess he could be her current boyfriend as well, but I would have thought it might be bit soon for that sort of thing? I dunno...
I tried not be too judgmental about his actions, since Mr. Roman Hands didn't seem to be upsetting Amanda, but like most commenters on the YT page, I thought all the grabbing and rubbing was a bit over the top. (No pun intended!) :twocents:
The most important thing obviously was that she was having getting out and having fun. (Amanda's been doing a fair bit of that recently - my cousin in Cleveland saw her at another much smaller concert last weekend.)
She has a gorgeous smile and looks in great shape.
Since I didn't get a chance earlier in the week, I'd also like to mention how happy I am that there will be no trial and the girls will be spared having to relive their ordeal in court.

Being completely honest, unless Castro is placed in solitary for his entire sentence, it's very likely he will be killed in prison. The moment he enters the general population he will be prime target #1.

The article says the person responsible for the identity fraud knows her family. I hope her family wasn't somehow involved in it, too.

I agree. I saw the video, and I'm like....."who is that guy, kissing her on the side of the neck, grabbing a squeeze here and there??" My husband, whose cynicism at times, astounds even me, said, "Probably just some guy after her money."
I hope that's not true.
She did, however, look very happy, healthy and carefree, which was so nice to see.
