I never said this. You don't think the climb was faked? You don't think it was a manipulation? Then we agree, :seeya:

Good, so no one is suggesting the footage is a fake.

Could you please post the time interval of continuous footage of the actor where he is able to go from the ground to the window ledge without touching the newly installed security bars. Without that information, it doesn't matter who does what with the window, as it's not relevant.

I guess it's an opinion that the journalist is not a journalist, and that the journalist is a liar?

Is there a link to support the allegation that the journalist is a liar, or is this an unsupported accusation intended to discredit the journalist?

Her "journalism" is limited to blogging on her 'freelance' site. Her pieces are not bought by any real media. It speaks for itself.

What? :floorlaugh:

It is relevant that the climb was demonstrated to be easy. The Perugian oncologist who did it had no reason to lie saying it's easy to do "bars or no bars" or manipulate the public, neither the TV crew, the TV station and all the other people who would have to be involved.

Either it's a manipulation or it is genuine. Simple as that. I'm not arguing anything, it's pointless to argue when there's only belief, not evidence or facts to support the manipulation theory. Feel free to believe whatever you want.

Vogt has written for the Guardian UK and Newsweek's The Daily Beast. She also has various magazine articles and books to her credit. If Mignini had been convicted and jailed today, she would have owned that and reported that.

What does that have to do with anything. Andrea Vogt is a journalist. Knox is a woman appealing her murder conviction. Patrick is a former bar owner whose life was destroyed by Knox. Meredith's family is victimized by Knox's demands that they speak with her and take her to Meredith's grave.

Do you have a link to Vogt not being published?

Any thoughts on what her work is doing here?

It would be helpful if opinions were identified as opinions.

I looked and do not think the bar grate effects the ledge or frame at all.

Then we'll have to agree to disagree! I see the bars as definitely blocking him from using the ledge to pull himself up.

Why would a court have no authority to acquit?

Hmmm. Because the ISC has dictated what the Firenze court is to find. Have you read the ISC ruling?

As far as I know, It has not been demonstrated that the climb to the window is easy. If I'm mistaken, could you please link to continuous footage demonstrating the climb without the use of the newly installed security bars.

It was years ago, she's no longer published by any respectable media. She went off the rockers completely and is obsessed with the Knox case but somehow can't sell any of her pieces about it. JMO :)

Please post a cite for "Knox's demands to speak with the family and take her to the grave."

FWIW, I believe that there was merely subtle confirmation bias at work: The will to believe making one believe, and YES, this occurs on both sides, absolutely. It's human nature.

I don't understand. The prosecutor has been acquitted. Is there a problem with this acquittal? If so, is it the same type of problem that was seen with Knox's acquittal?

Did someone appeal the court ruling? What is the problem with the court decision?

Then we'll have to agree to disagree! I see the bars as definitely blocking him from using the ledge to pull himself up.

Then it's impossible to simulate the climb, so what was the point?

That's not true. A quick google search brings up articles written by Vogt.

Did you miss that? It was all over the news. It's so recent, that it's easy to find with google.

Knox's demands to speak with the family became known when she refused to respect the lawyer's request to remove references to Meredith from her blog. She initially refused, demanding that she wanted to speak with the family rather than their lawyer. You could read it on her blog, but she edits it so often that the original content might have been overwritten. I have a screen shot somewhere.

It's in the video, you know the one edited on orders from the Supertanker to look like it's easy, bars or no bars :)

Did someone appeal the court ruling? The prosecution can appeal in Italy. What is the problem with the court decision?

Obviously I entered the discussion a little late and did not read the posts thoroughly enough. I thought you were talking about the Florence court and Solecito et al. I do not know the details of the Turin court's ruling.

Could you please post the time interval and link the video you are referencing where the actor is able to climb to the window without touching the security bars. Without that, I think we have to accept that any other footage is irrelevant, because clearly there were no bars on the window in 2007.

Somehow "hoping to have the family's permission" and "demanding to go" are very different things. [modsnip]
