Er, Guede has broken into SEVERAL places; Amanda staged ONE burglary as an April Fool's joke - without the broken window etc.

We know about one of Knox's "staged burglary" pranks, but from Nina Burleigh's book, it sounds like there were many more. If that April prank had ended in murder, there would probably be a broken window.

There was a rock in the bedroom, so "stone dust" must have come from that rock. That doesn't tell us anything about how the window was broken.

What trajectory did the rock take from outside to under the desk?

Not "must have" - no. The stone dust was near the window, where someone stepping in could have put their feet, and not near the rock, which appears to be a different color.

It looks like the rock was falling as it came through the window, and hit a black paper bag, knocking it over towards the desk. The bag is torn and the rock is half in, half out of the bag. There's dust and fragments from the rock nearby.

The rock is a rock. The crumbs and dust near the window look more like the white washed brick from the wall outside. The difference or sameness could have easily been tested, had they not already dismissed the scene as staged.

Where would whitewash brick come from? The wall is a stone wall that is a couple of hundred years old. Is limestone a local rock?

What is the trajectory path of a rock from the parking pad to under the desk? We've discussed the window so often that we can predict what each other will say. It seems that no one wants to talk about how that rock got from point A to point B. Even Hendry just puts the rock in the bedroom before offering an opinion.

Good point. Guede has broken into a couple of places taking the path of least resistance. Knox has staged burglaries. Police concluded that the scene was staged well before we knew anything about Knox's staged burglaries. How can anyone say that, knowing this, Guede must have broken the window?

Perhaps because of the fact that the rock was clearly thrown from the outside in, that in none of the "staged burglaries" of AK has she broken a window, that RG was there at a time when no one else was at the cottage, that no one had ever been hurt or killed during one of the "staged burglaries" that AK had done before, etc.

Police did alot of things wrong in their investigation. To believe them concerning the "staged break in" does not make sense to me. Unfortunately for them, the police, everything they did is in question now because of their lack of professionalism when collecting evidence and their lack of being able to avoid their tunnel vision.

Was the photo of the freshly dented shutter missed? It doesn't matter where the rock ended up, not really. There is glass on the rug beside the bed that shows the glass was broken from the outside in. Someone coming in through the window can kick the rock out of their way.

Everyone agrees that it rained the night before the murder and, according to the prosecutor, it also rained on the night of the murder. Why would there be dust on the wall?

Hit the right shutter, knocked the shutter open since the shutter was not locked and because of the resistance of the shutter the rock went to the left ending up turning over the black bag that was sitting up at the time causing it to tear.

If the rock fell into the bag on the left of the window, does that mean that the wooden shutter provided complete resistance to the rock and caused it to change directions? If the rock changed directions, why didn't it then rebound off the other open shutter, or did only one of the inner shutters open?

Why would the wooden shutter provide resistance to a rock? Shouldn't the rock force the shutter open such that the rock keeps going?
