So is this Reuters stream still live?

It looks like everyone is just waiting in the court room.

I guess it is after 7 PM in Florence, and they were in fact told to come back by 7 even though the verdict is not to be read until 8 PM (less than one hour from now):

This seems more torturous to me than having to wait an hour and a half for a cappuccino .....just sayin

The guy behind the camera just said they are expecting them to be late?

Ugh! Come on jury, get this show on the road! Don't you know there's people on the Internet waiting around for you guys? So selfish! ;) just kidding, of course

I just want to thank everyone for all the information that's been brought out here and which ever way this goes it was nice chatting with all of you.

I'm putting my grocery shopping off until tomorrow and will be going in the snow, but I've missed too many verdicts, gotta be here for this one.

So my englishman was right.. :)

I think they will be late no matter what.. Italians don't mark time like we do.

Hey guys, I assume the proceeds will be spoken in Italian right? So how will those of us who don't know Italian have a clue what's going on? Haha TIA

I think they will be found guilty. I suspect part of the reason is politics and another part of the reason is "saving face" for the lower court. I just don't trust the Italian judicial system.

Those of us who watched the Arias trial have gotten pretty good at waiting, waiting and then waiting some more!

Well, I hope you're right but for entirely different reasons.

Whilst I personally think Knox had something to do with Meredith's murder, it's annoying that she will never do any time now for a crime she is found guilty of. No justice kind of thing, KWIM?

But you trust ours??

What I have learned from the OJ trial and Casey trial, and the Ramsey's crime is that USA judicial system is not about the truth, it's about money, influence and how much money you have.

Truth seems far behind. imo.

She spent 4 yrs in prison before the conviction was overturned.

I sure wouldn't go back to Italy either. To be thrown in prison again? No thank you. Of course I believe the evidence does not show her to be guilty so my viewpoint is from the innocent side of the equation.

... nothing to do with the evidence? If the verdict is overturned, then it was good sound logic?

Hellmann was part of the same system though right?

The prosecutors get to appeal as well, thats why we are here. It very well could end in acquittal again.

Oh I disagree. She would eventually be behind bars. That...eventuality would seem like supreme justice IMO Knox would essentially ruin her entire life as opposed to being honest, admitting her involvement and moving forward with her life like Rudy will be able to do.
