#amandaknox verdict is expected at 9 or 9:30. Clerk reminded about the decorum expected:no applause, shouting, cheering, etc.

I think justice for Meredith Kercher is the objective. It's no different than wanting justice for Nancy Cooper and Michelle Young. In each case, the crime scene is more than a couple of feet on either side of the body.

It's got nothing to do with justice for Meredith Kercher. It's about face saving and protecting <modsnip> and their dysfunctional legal system who arrested the wrong people and told the worlds media "case closed" 4 days after the murder.

Verdict in an hour now apparently.

Why does this sound like they're going to be found guilty? Hmm..
To me, it sounds like the opposite....exact words used by Hellmann in 2011....

Oh really? I thought that some people assume they'll be found guilty to score political points and save face or whatever, that the mostly Italian packed room would be most likely to cheer?

I'd understand if either of the two suspects and their families were in the court, but they're not. KWIM?

It's mainly because Judge Hellmann issued the same warning about no cheering, clapping right before the acquittals in 2011  - the politics mainly involves judges and prosecutors, and they aren't inclined to cheer

So y'all want Amanda in prison.

Same for Raffaele too?

I do believe part of what happens in Italian courts is politically-based. It's been written about long before the Kercher murder. Not all, part.

However, in this case, where is the evidence showing Amanda's presence in Meredith's BR during the murder? We know Amanda's DNA is in the apt. She lived there. She shared a bathroom with Meredith. What about the murder scene of Meredith's BR? Whose DNA was found on/in the victim? Whose fingerprints were in the room?

It's the kinda question that really has been already discussed at nauseam ...everyone has their opinion.
For those that believe her to be guilty, there is plenty.

She did not spend time in prison for wrongly accusing an innocent man. That is simply not true. <modsnip> And I find it difficult to believe so many here "approve" what is an obviously untrue statement.

No, she didn't spend the four years for wrongly accusing an innocent man, however if the four years is all she might spend in prison then it really doesn't matter why she was in prison it can still be viewed as a bit of karma in play for her false accusation. "Pay back can be hell" and can be meted out in difference ways. JMO

I really don't know where your from but where I live, in NJ. If there is an eyewitness to a crime that's probable cause to make an arrest.
Knox lied. She fingered an innocent man. She lied.

Hey guys, I'm trying to get onto the wild about trial stream on the livestream app you have to use but nothing is coming up except a calendar and something saying it has started? Anyone have any idea what's up with it?

People still sitting and waiting in the courtroom but appears that some people have left for a break, leaving their coats on their chairs.

Sounds standard to me.
